When I pressed the Liquide fragrance button for the first time, I was immediately enchanted. The first moments immediately made me think of a summer evening in Greece - that special moment when you stroll through narrow streets with friends to dine in a cozy restaurant by the sea; and this magic remains throughout the development of the perfume.
The opening is a true sensation: the mandarin peel elegantly reveals itself with the warming saffron, and this combination is enveloped in an incredibly creamy texture, as if its ingredients complement each other perfectly. The heart notes develop into a breathtaking floral symphony. Orange blossom & jasmine come into their own here, quietly but remarkably. The subtle nuance of coriander seeds, on the other hand, provides a facet that keeps the fragrance exciting.
The base finally transforms into an opulent creaminess carried by ambrofix, georgywood and patchouli. Vanilla, white musk and cistus round off the whole thing and ensure that the fragrance stays in your memory long after you have worn it. Unfortunately, after a few hours, Dry Down becomes too tiring for me, as without the fruity-floral notes, the synthetic woods feel a little strange on my skin.
Nevertheless, this is a stunning fragrance. Particularly impressive are the longevity and sillage of this perfume, which are exceptionally good and allow the fragrance to be present throughout the day without ever being overpowering. The balance between natural and synthetic elements is perfect and makes "Liquide" a real masterpiece!!!
