I'm so in love with Fig
I simply love figs. I enjoy eating them immensely. Especially fresh. Preferably picked fresh from the tree while on vacation by the sea. I also find dried figs very delicious. And then there's fig as a perfume? How fantastic is that? This makes me celebrate the fig even more. Therefore, I tested various fig scents and I find most of them really good. However, I am particularly taken by Fico di Amalfi and I fell in love with it immediately. I love the playful mix of citrusy sparkling sweetness with a delicate touch of sweetness. I somehow perceive the fig and cedarwood more as pine needles/cypress wood. In any case, it gives the fragrance the typical Italian freshness, and every time I think I am in a forest by the Mediterranean. Jasmine and benzoin add a subtle sweetness to the fragrance alongside the freshness, thankfully.
Unfortunately, this freshie has the same problem as most others. It unfortunately doesn't last long. After about 4 hours, I have to reapply.
In the dry down, I get slight Wood Sage & Sea Salt vibes.
I simply say: "Mille Grazie" for this creation.

Old Vacation Memories of Deauville
I have heard so many positive things about the scent that I initially ordered a decant. I actually had little expectations for the fragrance, so I was even more speechless when I first smelled it only from the spray...and not out of excitement. I thought to myself: Oh no, not such an intrusive, matronly old lady scent. When I finally sprayed it on my clothes, I waited a few seconds and suddenly there was a completely different fragrance. I perceived a green and slightly citrusy freshness. I imagine I smell fresh, delicate flowers. In the dry down, the scent becomes creamier and more harmonious for me. I smell different nuances every time. Sometimes I also get fresh laundry notes. However, rose? Nope. Patchouli? Sometimes :-D
By now, I am thrilled by the fragrance, which seems so simple & subtle, yet is totally exciting at the same time. An absolute all-rounder that occasionally transports me back to the stormy French Atlantic ;-)
On my skin, the longevity is about 3 hours. On clothing, significantly longer, about 6-7 hours.

The name lives up to its promise
I received this scent as a sample with a fragrance order.
I immediately sprayed it on a test strip and was overwhelmed by a wave of fresh, slightly dry lavender. I liked the lavender scent right away, but I wondered if I wanted to smell like my balcony plants? ;-) When I smelled the test strip again 30 minutes later, I was totally surprised. Because suddenly there was a lush bouquet of various purple flowers. An interesting scent, but for me, it was too floral.
