Royal Luxury and Environmental Awareness Combined in Penhaligon’s New “Highgrove Bouquet” Creation

The British perfume label Penhaligon's launches the summer floral unisex fragrance "Highgrove Bouquet" in collaboration with Prince Charles, Prince of Wales and Duke of Cornwall.

Penhaligon's continues its search for inspiration in culturally and historically significant places and this time found it in the outstandingly beautiful gardens of Highgrove House, the royal residence of Prince Charles, which is an idol of British architecture.

The eau de parfum, designed by Julie Pluchet, pays homage to the summer scents of those very gardens, which are characterized in particular by the floral, uplifting aromas of the hanging silver lime. Its scent appears as the dominant component in the heart of the perfume, where it combines floral, powdery notes with mimosa and tuberose to create an energetic, joyful summer bouquet. It is joined in the top notes by the powerful and sensual aromas of lavender and geranium, and a soothing, elegant base of cedarwood and orris root.

An essential part of the collaboration with the Prince Charles Foundation, in addition to capturing the fragrance diversity of the royal gardens, is the creation of a sustainable luxury product. In addition to recycled paper and eco-foam made from sugar cane for the packaging, as well as mineral oil-free organic ink for the label printing, the so-called headspace technology was used. This involves placing a glass dome several times around the flower, the essence of which can thus be obtained as a sample in the process of gas chromatography-mass spectrometry and copied for perfume production after molecular analysis, thus not damaging the flowering trees.

The perfume is available in the bottle size 100 ml.
