The 70s Are Back
As Daisy Jones said

“I had absolutely no interest in being somebody else's muse.
I am not a muse.
I am the somebody.”

Unfortunately, I am a bit too young to have experienced the 70s. However, I have a great passion for the artists, the outfits, and the music history of that time. Women like Stevie Nicks, Patti Smith, and Kate Bush all had that aura for which they are still icons today.
Strong women, red lipstick, rock music, long nights, winters in New York? Dusty fur coats and cigarettes in a bar - that’s what this fragrance smells like to me. Nostalgic yet modern and self-assured.

The Mystical NYC in the 30s

Okay - this is probably going to be a niche that hardly anyone understands, but I feel the need to share it because it hasn't left my mind for weeks. Maybe there are a few like-minded people out there!

First of all:
In New York, since 2011, there has been the infamous McKittrick Hotel, which houses the immersive theater "sleep no more." The entire hotel is designed in the style of the 30s and features various sets across several floors.
Hidden behind their masks, guests follow the story of Macbeth, Alfred Hitchcock's Rebecca, Rosemary and her baby, and some other characters. The whole atmosphere of the hotel is so captivating, mystical, somehow intoxicating, and you just want to be a part of it. As you wander lost through the hallways of the hotel soaking it all in, it's hard to decide whom to follow next. Should you burst into the bloody rave orgy of the three witches who prophesy Macbeth's future? Accept the hand of the speakeasy bartender and trust him to guide you? Or would you rather follow the call of the goddess Hecate and steal a kiss? I've always been fascinated by everything dark, but this place has held a special place in my thoughts for years. I was lucky enough to visit it for the second time this summer, and since then I've been searching for something to cling to, something that connects me to my memories.
And now to the scent -
The fragrance takes me straight back to that place! Old furniture, wood, the sweet smoke of a fog machine, and a hint of rum (perhaps from the oak barrel note?). Translated, the scent means "Memories of an Intruder," and that fits perfectly.
It's because of scents like this that I have this passion for perfume. Fragrances are memories and emotions, and I am so happy to have found something that allows me to indulge in those special memories for a few moments.

Day at the Beach
salted Muse smells just like the name suggests. Salty skin, freshly emerged from the sea, just briefly set down on the wet towel in the sand. The olive gives me some Greece vibes. To me, it smells like Ariel the mermaid. Salty, in a good mood, lying in the sand on the beach of Crete while a fresh breeze blows through her hair. Very close to the skin, which is not necessarily a disadvantage for me.
