Its all about Rose…

The first test and - oh my God! What a fragrance! I walked around for a week thinking about it. Persistent, delicate, sweet and wonderful in the opening, which is exactly how it seemed to me at first. Probably the mix of the other perfume I tried that day, gave me that feeling. I wanted to order a bottle, but decided to try it again. And out came THIS! Rose. It was so itchy and hated by me so much. The other notes I just stopped noticing when I felt this rose. It reminded me of all my non-favorite perfumes like Chloe, F.Malle portrait of the lady, xerjoff wardasina.
It’s a pity that it’s turned out like that. After all tester was gone, love is still not happened. All I like in it but rose! I tried black collection 2 later too, but they are so similar to me that- no, nothing for me.
The perfume is persistent and beautiful, thick, with a good trail,it’s overtake all room around and gives a lots of compliments, interestingly played leather, it appears very unobtrusive and suede. No fruits on my skin. The musk does not scream and is not annoying, I even barely feel it. For fans of the direction very worth to try

Finally

I once had a sample of either the Widian Black IV or Black II I couldn't remember anymore even tho I kept the packaging wrap of it for years without trowing it away until my mom eventually thew it away while cleaning finding it between my books....

So forward to now, last year after working during my summer semester break to get some money to fullfill my girlriend her dream of going to Paris, I was also able to finally get myself the Black IV and my gosh I love it. I'd say slightly feminin leaning but still unisex.

Floral plum-currant fragrance with a sandalwood base and a Widian twist!

I recently received a bottle of "Black Collection - IV | Widian / AJ Arabia" and after being impressed by "London | Widian / AJ Arabia" and Aswan - really great leathery fragrances - I was all the more excited to finally be able to test a Widian from the Black Collection. Based on the fragrance pyramid, I already had some initial expectations before spraying it on for the first time, but then I was more positively surprised than expected! Why was that? Let's see!

Here is a short version of the "Black Collection - IV | Widian / AJ Arabia"

- The fragrance starts with a beautiful, soft and rather sweet plum note, with the currant very quickly coming to the fore. When first sprayed on, the fragrance is far fresher than in the drydown, which is thanks to the bergamot. It's not a "freshie", don't get me wrong, the bergamot plays a very subtle role in the background. A great, natural-smelling opening. They haven't reinvented the wheel, but they've done a lot better.

- The fragrance then takes on a great floral twist with bright flowers and a subtle rose, before the fragrance very quickly enters the drydown; this floral, unfortunately short-lived phase gives the fruity-sweet opening a great floral twist. In my opinion, the drydown is dominated by a creamy sandalwood base, which is supported by vanilla and musk. The leather is barely perceptible and only subtly rounds off the sweet base in the background so that the fragrance doesn't become overly sweet.

- The longevity is good and in the upper third, it actually lasts really reasonably well. The projection is appropriate for this type of fragrance; you are well perceived, but it is definitely not a projection monster; which it does not have to be, as the area of application does not require this (dates etc.)

To summarize, I have to say that I was really pleasantly surprised. I was expecting a fruity-sweet DNA and got a great fragrance experience that goes far beyond that. Yes, the opening is fruity-sweet-fresh, but it then takes on a floral accord before moving into a creamy-woody base surrounded by subtle leather. All of this in the usual Widian quality and with the usual Widian twist; you simply recognize the Widian DNA.

Best date scent?

In my opinion, Widian black 4 is one of the best date fragrances I know. In addition to this very well-realized plum, the fragrance also has a very pleasant sweetness. The longevity is good and the sillage is just right, not too intrusive and not too weak. A full recommendation for people who like sweet floral fragrances.
