i think 78 Vintage Green is actually a very successful name for the fragrance.
With this fragrance, Banana Republic offers a fresh green composition with a really interesting twist.
A glance at the fragrance pyramid gives you a good first impression of the fragrance idea, which already gives you an indication of a clever composition that makes a fresh DNA, pleasing but interesting:

The fragrance opens sparkling and citrusy and is accompanied by a vetiver note that stays with the fragrance for longer. The effervescence of the citrus combines well with the somewhat more pungent facets of the vetiver. After a short time, green notes and tea complement each other. In my opinion, the tea note completes the overall fragrance particularly well, as it brings with it a light and pleasant tea sweetness. The fragrance is not "cloying" as a result, but is pleasantly rounded. The fragrance is embedded in a woody-musky base.

This composition results in a fresh, green fragrance that is very suitable for the masses but stands out from the more common fragrances thanks to its green notes with vetiver tips and tea harmony.

I don't know whether 78 Vintage Green can be described as a hidden gem, because some people do know it. However, in my opinion, relatively little is said about it. However, the entry barriers for this fragrance are very low due to its low price. In my opinion, this fragrance should therefore at least be worth a test, because those interested can quickly and with little effort get a fragrance that brings character and uniqueness with it.

The title of this review actually describes the fragrance quite aptly. You get a rose oud fragrance that is rounded off with a pleasant praline note. The combination of the individual fragrance notes is surprisingly harmonious and well-balanced. The saying "less is more" is apt here, as each note is clearly recognizable and contributes to a harmonious overall picture.

Using oud in an affordable fragrance is often a challenge. The choice of oud variety and the intensity of the animalic notes also play an important role. In this case, however, the fragrance is easy to recreate: Anyone who has ever smelled a classic rose oud fragrance will recognize the base of this perfume. The oud is not animalic, but is more reminiscent of the type of oud found in Oud Eau de Parfum. There is certainly a difference in terms of quality, but the character is similar.

This base is then complemented with a sweet, chocolaty praline note, underlaid with a light vanilla note and refined with a hint of saffron for an oriental touch - the Shaghaf Oud Eau de Parfum is finished.

The progression is very linear and the characteristic of the fragrance is powerful. When buying it, you should therefore bear in mind that you have to like this DNA even apart from the finer elegance that this DNA can often serve. When wearing it, however, you have to bear in mind that it would also be good for the people around you if they liked this DNA :)

Guerlain's Aqua Allegoria Herba Fresca captivates with its authentic natural freshness, which is primarily evoked by a very photorealistic mint. The green-fresh fragrance opens by pairing this with a citrus note and embeds itself on a floral base. The composition already reveals that this is a very fine fragrance that does without woods and the like.
The entire composition is arranged around the mint and serves the theme of "fresh herbs" thematically complemented by flowers, clover and lemon. The flower meadow with clover leaves and citrus impressions therefore symbolizes the mint. The mint is authentically fresh and really delicious and natural. The special thing about it, in my opinion, is that the mint note also contains the herbal fragrance spectrum that you smell when you eat mint, which is why you could ask whether this already shows gourmand influences.
The fineness of the overall delivery certainly has an effect on the lasting power or sillage, although I think that the fragrance comes off too badly in the current average rating (H: 6.1 S: 5.1). I find the sillage in particular to be significantly worse than it actually is. It is a light fragrance, but it does create a decent veil around the wearer, as mint is also a strong and easily recognizable fragrance. I have two bottles at the moment as I found a good offer in the souk. The bottle that has been open for a while seems to me to have become even more intense. But that's just a side note.
With Aqua Allegoria Herba Fresca you get an easy to like, but creatively realized fresh fragrance with authentic mint, which is certainly more exciting than the conventionally sought-after blue freshies. If you find yourself in this description, you should try the fragrance at least once in a souk or perfumery. Guerlain's Aqua Allegoria line is easily accessible and can also be found in the most popular Douglas stores.

Some houses are also known for their in-house blend, in my opinion. Creed and Tom Ford are good examples of this. In my opinion, Diptyque is also one of these houses, which is also characterized by very elegant but special compositions.
The fragrance Tempo, which like all of the manufacturer's eau-de-perfume concentrations comes in a black tinted glass bottle, has a woody-green patchouli scent accompanied by sage and complemented by subtle notes of bergamot and mate. Embedded in the aforementioned blend, the composition described is wrapped in a kind of elegant silver veil.
Diptyque's Tempo is elegant, woody-light, special and, despite everything, pleasing.

#Hashtag is a molecular fragrance that imitates the theme of "freshness" or possibly also "fresh laundry" or "fresh linen" and adds a touch of incense. The incense is clearly perceptible, but is subordinate to the freshness like a breeze. I find the composition really successful and finely balanced.

But what I find really special about the fragrance is the idea...
In my opinion, fragrance lovers and fans of more interesting notes and compositions will really get their money's worth here. Because with Hashtag you don't get a classic, ordinary freshie, but a fresh linen DNA that provides an interesting corner through the incense and thus opens the door for incense into the hotter days!
