Art of Blonde Amber?
Of course, due to the existing reviews, it is compared to XXI: Art Deco - Blonde Amber.
However, the opening is completely different for me. Much more vibrant and fruity.
Was I disappointed afterwards?
No, because XXI: Art Deco - Blonde Amber should remain XXI: Art Deco - Blonde Amber. I don't want a dupe!

In the drydown, however, I was surprised. The Art of Arabia III has an incredibly fine tobacco note. I had to sniff my wrist all day.
I was blown away by the scent.

An absolute recommendation to buy.
While it comes very close to XXI: Art Deco - Blonde Amber, it is still an independent fragrance for me.
A great alternative for those who don't want to spend so much money and definitely worth a test even for experienced people!

Turkish Aftershave with Class!
So much hype around this scent left me cold, and I absolutely had to test it.
So I got a sample to be able to join the conversation.

I met with a Turkish friend for the "unboxing."
During the opening, he looked at me and said... "it smells just like Turkish aftershave from the barbershop!"
I was shocked... Turkish aftershave?

The opening doesn’t last long... immediately the jasmine comes into play and harmonizes with the citrus fruits.
I find it initially zesty like a citrus sorbet!

The woods make it creamy. This scent then also stays on the skin.
I find it perfect for spring and the first warmer summer days. I’m curious how it performs at over 30°C.

It wasn’t love at first sight. I took two days to warm up to the scent.

Unfortunately, I am totally undecided about whether to spend the money to buy a full bottle.
By now, I’ve had it on my skin for four consecutive days and find the scent really beautiful and pleasant.
The longevity is unfortunately absolutely terrible.
Is it olfactory blindness? I don’t think so, because even after two hours the scent is no longer perceived. And not just by me, but also by outsiders.
With my sample in my pocket, I currently spray a bit every three hours.
Will this make me happy in the long run? I don’t know yet.

How do you deal with the longevity?

Designer DNA with Niche Character
I have had Accento for a while now.
I usually wear it on days when I'm unsure about what to spray on.

For me, it's an absolute all-rounder that always works.
However, the top note is nothing special to me. It starts off very fresh, almost reminiscent of a high-quality shower gel. It feels like a designer fragrance, but its musk and amber notes in the base give it a wonderful niche character.

A great entry-level fragrance. You can't go wrong with it, but you shouldn't expect too much.

Alternative to Nefs Nishane?
A friend enthusiastically recommended the Ganymede Eau de Parfum.
So I got a sample of this fragrance.

Unfortunately, I find it incredibly difficult to put this scent into words.
It opens very fresh for me with a very juicy mandarin.
Yes, it might also come across as somewhat synthetic. It smells very fresh, elegant, and luxurious to me.
It doesn't clash anywhere in the office either.

The fragrance has an incredibly good longevity. Over time, it develops a slightly woody character but remains true to its luxurious DNA.

It can be worn in absolutely any season and for any occasion. A great all-rounder and definitely worth a blind buy.

At the same time, I see this fragrance as an alternative to Nefs. Of course, it’s not quite as complex as the Nefs, but I can definitely find parallels to it.

What about you? Do you see parallels to Nefs?

A Fresh Explosion with a Very Clean Drydown
After so many videos on social media, I treated myself to Giradino di Boboli by Roberto Ugolini.

It arrived yesterday afternoon, and I could hardly wait to spray it on the next morning. The first sniff from the bottle was very promising.

Sprayed on this morning, I was immediately hit by a cloud of green apple. The fragrance starts off very, very fresh with its green notes.

Upon arriving at the office, I was pampered with notes of rose, iris, and jasmine.

A very clean scent that feels very fresh and powdery. I am constantly reminded of the fragrance through my movements.
The feedback from my colleagues has been overwhelmingly positive.

For me, it’s an absolutely unisex fragrance that is a lot of fun due to its great sillage and longevity.
I am very pleased to have discovered this scent.
