Very simple and yet very complex?
I've read a lot about this fragrance, it covers a certain target group, I don't want to belong there, etc.
The next ones were very enthusiastic and recommended him further. Such an accumulation of extreme opinions always makes me sit up and take notice, because I have often found such good scents.

So I went to test the scent.
First said: a fellow student of mine has worn the code Profumo for a long time. The latter, however, consumed it too much. Basically I liked the fragrance.

The fragrance is very similar to Profumo. It is a little less sweet and has a very pleasant leather note which I personally like very much
It starts fruity sweet, whereby the fragrance starts almost like a mix of One million (which fragrance I don't like at all) Boss Bottled Intense.
The tonka bean, vanilla and leather are quickly added. From here the scent becomes interesting for me. Especially the fine leather note has taken a liking to me. In the later sale a minimal spiciness and/or earthiness is added, which is accompanied however constantly by the remaining sweetness of the tonka bean and the vanilla.

The shelf life and the silage are brutal. Definitely no scent for the office or the university, it is here and a go out / party scent in autumn or winter. But please, no more than 2-3 splashes. With 2 splashes I have a super performance for 10 hours.

I personally like the creamy, sweet composition with leather, even though the fragrance sale is relatively monotonous.
Who is not a fan of sweet Tonka fragrances, however, will not like this fragrance.
I have received only positive feedback so far and will definitely wear the scent this winter.

The crowning glory of the Sauvage series and no screamer
The Dior Sauvage EDT was my entry into the world of fragrance at that time. Smell, in love, worn for three years. At some point, it was enough for me. On the one hand because I wanted a new Signature fragrance, on the other hand because you suddenly smell the Dior Sauvage on every corner. So I switched to Armani Acqua the Gino Profumo, but that's another story.
When the eau de Parfum came onto the market, I became curious again and tested it, but it didn't convince me. So another time passed. Often I noticed the Sauvage DNA and thought to myself: Damn, it still smells good..
suddenly I heard about the new release of the perfume.
Directly to the perfumery and a Samlper secured and what should I say:
-this fragrance should have replaced the eau de parfum. For me, the crowning glory of the line. Sauvage DNA is clearly visible, but is not as pungent and screaming in perfume as it is in EDT. In contrast to EDT, however, a certain warmth and creaminess envelops you directly. This becomes more prominent in the sale of the fragrance, at the end one clearly perceives the Tonkabone and thed Patchouli, which gives it a spicy-sweet base to the long citric course.

In summary, for me it is clear:
Enough similarity that an EDT fan also gets his money's worth here, but pleasantly different from the EDT. (I can't say much about the EDP). The fragrance is slightly more mature, creamy and tends to be more intended for spring / autumn / winter. The shelf life is brutal, but the silage is not as room-filling as the EDT. This is great for me, because sometimes the EDT is just too much for me. Some say the perfume is very close to the eye. I can't confirm this like that. I have a silage similar to the Bleu de Chanel EDP, so perfect for me. Noticeable when someone is standing next to you or walking, but not smelling in the whole room.

If you own the EDT you don't have to switch, but if I had to decide between the two I would definitely use the perfume!

Sweet-powder-fresh floral, is it?!
As a fan of the Dior Homme and Homme Intense, a friend recommended me the Valentino Uomo Intense. Jeremy once told me about it, but I never smelled it before. So go to town and test. But that turned out to be very difficult, apparently the scent is no longer produced. That's what I left for now. By chance I came across the scent at Souk and swapped it blindly.
What can I say, I definitely haven't regretted it. Yes, the fragrance has some similarities with the Dior Homme Intense, but there is a clear difference especially on my skin.
The Fragrance Starts Freshly sweet. The mandarin (for me not necessarily identifiable as a mandarin, but definitely a sweet citrus fruit, not a bitter one) is in the foreground with iris and vanilla (tonka bean?) in the background. In the process the mandarin steps somewhat into the background, remains however still noticeable thereby. The iris is permanently present, the scent is powdery, but not old! After approx. 1 hour comes very strongly a background leathernste in addition. And wow, that's not only the difference to DHI, but also my favorite note in the fragrance. I'm not into leather fragrances, but here it is so perfectly embedded that I'm just thrilled.
I don't know how the fragrance does it, but for the fact that the fragrance is actually very heavy and sweet, the sweetness is not so present and it always has a fruity light floral undertone. This makes it really comfortable to wear.
The shelf life and Sillage look for their equal. 8-12 hours depending on the weather are not uncommon, the silage remains at least one meter even after 5 hours. There'll be compliments, too. Sure, I got more compliments for the sauvage, but with Valentino I got very honest and "better" compliments. Not superficial but quite enthusiastic.

For me a clear buy recommendation, if you find the scent strike. If you like the Dior Homme Intense, you might as well buy it blind. He won't disappoint you.

My first perfume
When I entered the perfume world, I had no idea. I got advice in the perfumery and after two three different scents (all ok, but not convinced me) I got the Dior Sauvage for a test. What the hell is that?! Biting in the nose, slight associations of cheap toilet cleaner and the need to sneeze. No. No way, but too late, he was already on my skin. So that was it for me with perfume for now (I thought). During the course of the day, however, I noticed an extremely pleasant smell coming from the place where I had the perfume. A wonderful freshness with a resiny-woody undertone. Was that really the same perfume I smelled two hours ago?
I then ended up buying the perfume after all and was 2 years and 3 bottles later still very impressed. You can't smell it from too close, but in the air it's just great. The shelf life is at least 7-8 hours, depending on the weather.
After I smelled the scent too often on the street, the Acqua di Gino Profumo became my signature scent. I just didn't want to smell like many others (yes, I know, ADG now the same).
The fragrance is recommended as a safe number for every occasion. It is very versatile and can be worn on any occasion at any time of the year. The durability is more than sufficient and the compliments came from all sides. Whether you want to wear it or not, because too many people simply wear it, is up to you. I won't even buy him although I always float in nostalgia when he meets me on the street.

The best top mark!
It's clear to everyone that perfumes are a matter of taste. But for me not only the scent is important, but also the durability and the silage. And first of all: these are right with this fragrance.
For me personally this fragrance has the best opening I have ever smelled in a perfume. The bergamot in combination with the grapefruit (could even be orange for me) in combination with the coriander and the undertoned iris is simply stunning. It always brings a smile to my face. This remains however "unfortunately" only around the 10 minutes so. However, the scent will not be bad afterwards in any case! but only different. The iris begins to come more to the fore and combines well with the woody notes, but the freshness of the citrus fruit remains present and gives it an ingenious freshness.
It is therefore a slightly powdery woody fragrance with fresh undertones. Absolutely summer suitable !
I think that the fragrance gets much less attention than it deserves, for me an absolutely successful flanker. The connection to Dior Homme can be guessed, but the fragrance is far away from Dior Homme Intense or perfume. So a nice change for the warmer days.
Clear recommendation to buy
