i don't see how this is seen as.....................

I just don't understand why this is seen as a "lesser" version of Dior's original Homme or other flankers.

This is a great scent that seems like it was made for autumn, not so light but not cloying like the Dior Hommes that came before it. When I wear this I feel as if I'm just not trying so hard like I do when I wear Dior's Homme, Guerlain's LIDGE and other mainstream scents that are nice but a little too stuffy for me.

As for longevity, I guess my skin just loves to hold fragrances a little longer than that of other reviewers. Does it radiate? I think it does, rather well.

Dior Homme Light...

So I've been wearing this one and have actually been enjoying it. It reminds me of a lighter and (at first) slightly generic version of Dior Homme. In other words, more like an imitation of Dior Homme than the real thing. I do like it though. This one has definitely grown on me. I find it very soothing and the fact that they weren't shy on using the iris here is a real bonus. I love iris in all forms so for me I really cannot call this a bad fragrance. I have never ever been disappointed in any of the Dior Homme line. I think this one is worth it if you like iris fragrances for men.

Amazing fragrance, poor performance

This is another classy, powdery floral fragrance from the Dior Homme line. It has the signature iris note which is outstanding, but this time with some lighter citrusy notes to create a less heavy, more summer-friendly fragrance compared to DH and DHI.

Speaking purely on scent, this is incredible. Nice sweetness and very romantic so perfect for a summer date.

However, the big downfall of this fragrance is the projection. It projects well for about 1 hour, after which it is very much a skin scent which makes me think it's probably better to spend your £65 on DH or DHI which will give you good performance. If you want to snuggle up to your girlfriend/wife this hits the spot. It's light enough to not choke her but has the classy and romantic elements to make this a success in that context.

Buy, try or pass? I'd say pass as you can get the same great scent with the other Dior Homme fragrances for the same price, and you also get the great performance with those. Sadly not with this one though.

Discontinued and hard to get

great perfume, from the same DIOR homme line, a punch of iris. only this version instead of calling it light they called it "EAU" less iris and a little more balance in its notes. it has always been difficult to find it in europe since it is a version made for the north american market
elegance, versatility and easy to wear all year round

Faking it

It doesn't feel right this.
You've got the louche Powdery Amber* of Dior Homme, overlaid by a cheap aromatic, which is a triumph of mis-casting, like some grizzled barfly actor in the role of thrusting middle manager in a crime drama.
He may dress flash and he's got the sweet talk, but as his true nature wins out, you get the sense he's faking it.

Very underrated fragrance. Starts off a bit citrusy but as the fragrance dries down, the Iris becomes more prominent. Powdery and Soft.

Wow this is just a fresh DHI that's easier to wear, could work as all year rounder if it wasn't discontinued and hard to find.

Sad that this amazing fragrance is discontinued.
If you want something VERY close, try Narciso Rodriguez Bleu Noir Parfum. 90% similarity!

One of the best in the Dior Homme line! I would describe this as the perfect son-in-law fragrance. Sophisticated, clean and well-mannered.
