Strawberry ice cream
Smells like strawberry ice cream, definitely. Or is it mustard? This fragrance is once again a perfect example of how advertising works. There's no other way I can explain how some people can claim to read the garbage below.

Smoke, fire, Mordor's swamps, forest, old people's home...
I don't know if these people have ever stood next to a fire or smelled fresh peat.
Darth Vader would certainly wear an "Opus XV - King Blue | Amouage", other people would certainly have more suitable ones up their sleeves. This fragrance is not a vetiver bomb either, there are other fragrances out there.

In my eyes, this fragrance is a great introduction to vetiver and definitely unisex. My first association after reading the name and smelling the bottle: a love letter. The scent is reminiscent of ink, the light woody note that hints at the parchment chosen and the sweetness that comes from spraying on the author's favorite fragrance. Why didn't anyone mention the sweetness here? Because the fragrance is definitely sweet.

After spraying it on, you get a slightly tart, fresh green cypress together with the vetiver. This then comes more and more to the fore and merges with the musk and your own skin to form a fine, woody, sweet veil. The fragrance is really minimal and dark.

Conclusion: I really like it and I can really recommend it for the price here at Souk. Please smell for yourself and save yourself the videos of greedy influencers.

Shape Shifter
First of all, you shouldn't expect a proverbial supernova, because the "Super Nova | Gritti" is neither short-lived, nor does it start with an explosion, but rather quietly. But well, you can't hear anything in space.

You should definitely test this fragrance on your skin. While it was barely perceptible on the test strip in the perfumery and very soft in its form, it developed on my hand and everything that came into contact with it into something that I had never experienced before.

First of all, my experience with aquatics is limited. So I can't really classify "Super Nova | Gritti" yet. However, I can say that the fragrance is very interesting and lasts and projects for an extremely long time. My skin normally absorbs fragrances quite quickly, but I could still smell this one days after applying it, despite showering and washing my hands. My jacket and sweater were still filling rooms with the
Fragrance. I had never experienced this before and it is both a plus and a minus.

While the fragrance starts out soft and fresh with pepper and artemisia, it later drifts into an increasingly synthetic feeling of metallic and salty notes, which offer great potential for headaches. This is made even worse by the persistence. Although the fragrance has something, it got on my and my girlfriend's nerves at some point due to its omnipresence. The headache aspect even made it slightly nauseating. It was just too much and you couldn't escape the scent. I couldn't detect any oud or gunpowder.

The creation is definitely something special and I haven't smelled anything comparable yet. The price-performance ratio is great, especially for a fresh fragrance. I wouldn't recommend more than one spray to anyone.

Whether you understand time as relative and want to see the fragrance metaphorically as the entire course of a supernova, or rather see it as a measurable after-effect in infinity, is up to you. In any case, it is a great experiment that positively confuses.

After some time, I will certainly test the fragrance again and then adjust my review if necessary.

Nuuuuuu Jooooork
8:00 a.m., my clock radio switches on and Chris Martin wakes me and my husband. That's a great way to start the day. You can simply rely on 1live! I quickly hop in the shower, put on my new Guido Maria Kretschmer outfit and reward myself with twenty sprays of "Anticonformiste | Mizensir". The fragrance just suits me. I'm totally funky myself. Stupid Tanja from the administration will make eyes at me. Ha!

So off I go in my yellow Fiat500, the rear window of which is decorated with the names of my angels, and happily make my way to the BKK Salzgitter office. I quickly put the few hours behind me. Because tonight I'm finally going out with the girls to sip cocktails at our favorite bar. Of course, I'll be capturing it all on Instagram. Bärbel will definitely be commenting again #wiederholungsbedarf.
Uuuhhh, Alicia keys is on the radio now. So turn it up and sing along. Nuuuuuuu Jooooork!

By the way, Mathias asked me to marry him on the Empire State Building. So romantic.

So, all joking aside. What kind of shitty name is that? This fragrance is as anti-conformist as Bautzen mustard at a barbecue in the East.
I also wonder where the New York reference comes from. But well, due to the urban diversity, you could also attribute every fragrance to New York in some way.
But especially in combination with the name, I could think of dozens of better ideas. Swing and blues, jazz clubs, disreputable streets, cab drivers, youth in the backyard, the chaos of the 70s, electronic influences from Detroit and Chicago, riots on Christopher Street, cultural imports of all kinds, psychopaths on Wall Street, the beginning of breakdancing and graffiti...

Well, so be it. So to the fragrance: boring!
If there's one fragrance that conforms, it's freshies. If so, then they really should have taken a risk here and reinvented the wheel, confused people, maybe even shocked them. As it is, it remains a totally random, fresh fragrance that you can get dozens of times in every Douglas store and have already smelled. Just not at this absurd price.
In terms of craftsmanship, however, the perfume is not bad at all. I think the top note is well done and the performance is also not bad for a fresh fragrance. However, it becomes too synthetic for me over time and unfortunately remains very linear and subtle. More mint and patchouli could have provided at least a few rough edges with a stronger contrast from the pepper and perhaps the name wouldn't have triggered me quite as much. But it probably would have.

The Mizensir PR department should certainly do everything differently for the next fragrance. In any case, I would suggest renaming "Anticonformiste | Mizensir" to Freshheit for the time being.

Nevertheless, thank you very much for the competition and the opportunity to test the fragrance.
