For the man at your side: Per Uomo
After applying it, I immediately noticed the refreshing scent of bergamot. Gradually, the aromas of coffee and a hint of vetiver joined in.

I wore this fragrance to an important appointment. I think that women can also benefit from its slightly more tart, masculine note when they wear it. Unfortunately, the sillage was not optimal here either.

Overall, the fragrance receives a clear rating of 9/10. The durability is 6/10 and the sillage is also 6/10.

A fragrance that could enchant more than just Rome: A slightly more nuanced review
The fragrance notes of this perfume are clear and unmistakable. The opening is dominated by lapsang souchong tea, which offers a pleasant balance between tangy smoke and invigorating freshness. Shortly afterwards, the jasmine absolute unfolds, developing slowly but steadily and giving the fragrance a certain structure.

The vanilla rounds off the fragrance experience by adding a subtle sweetness that perfectly complements the smoky tea and floral jasmine.

Wearing this fragrance was an extremely pleasant experience for me. It exudes a refreshing femininity that is powerful and not too delicate.

Nuts and almond notes: A hint of fresh plum
Last week, on a whim, I gave my mother this perfume for her 'Yılbaşı'
Since we often share and use perfumes together, I had the opportunity to try it out myself today.

When I first sprayed it on, the powdery almond note enveloped me a little too intensely, but the 'fresh plum' quickly compensated for this.
Unfortunately, vanilla and rose dominate a little too much at the beginning, which briefly takes away my enjoyment of this fragrance. However, this heaviness subsides within the first 15 minutes or so and makes way for a more harmonious fragrance experience.

Overall, a very pleasant fragrance unfolds, even if it is still a little too powdery for my taste. But given the price, that doesn't bother me too much.

The sillage leaves something to be desired, but the longevity is quite satisfactory.

On the whole, I would have liked a little less vanilla and powderiness in this fragrance and a little more plum instead.
Nevertheless, I liked it, and most importantly for me... my mother really likes it.
And in the end, that's what really counts!

Too much alcohol, no coffee
What was I thinking here?
I have to admit that I wasn't necessarily looking for a dupe of BO, but I was hoping for notes of pear, coffee and pink pepper.

But this one, I don't know...
Apart from the strong smell of alcohol that I detect, the perfume itself is not bad. I smell vanilla, lots³ of licorice and also something floral... but the coffee scent that I was promised on the La Rive website itself, here and other sites on the net? Unfortunately, there is (almost?) no trace of it!

I wouldn't necessarily say it was a bad buy... however, it doesn't live up to what I was looking forward to.

The longevity and sillage are also a little disappointing. Given the price, however, I can live with that.

Winter scents and 'bakery bliss': a fragrant journey through a cake wonderland
In my search for new fragrances, I came across a perfume that I immediately liked. However, given the low prices, I was keen to find another alternative.

In particular, the practical size of this brand's bottle makes it easy to carry around in your handbag - ideal for long days when you might want to top up.

From the first spray on the test strip, I was surprised by a delicious fruity note. It reminded me of a warm, juicy cherry pie in winter - so deliciously vanilla!

The first time I used it today, the woody scents became a little more prominent over time, which I absolutely love. Basically a fragrance that perfectly combines both sweet and tart notes.
