Worthwhile Investment
The fragrances from this line by The Spirit of Dubai are certainly not a bargain - however, you do get quite a lot in return. The bottle of "The Spirit of Dubai - Abjar | Nabeel" is already an absolute eye-catcher and likely accounts for a good part of the price. Fortunately, the scent is also impressive... I have tested most of the high-end series, and this one convinces me the most. It opens with an oriental-spicy-leathery note, and in the end, the slightly more sultry notes remain. Just today, I received another compliment from a colleague... The sillage is very good, without being overwhelming, and the longevity is almost unmatched. A true gem in any collection!

Great scent ...
..., which is not meant to be a reference to cannabis - in my opinion, only less innocent noses identify it as such. A wonderful scent, especially for hot days, not as intoxicating as Black Afgano Extrait de Parfum. To my senses, it is beautifully spicy-green-herbaceous, somehow enigmatic thanks to the well-measured cannabis. In the very end, I perceive a slightly animalic note: fine! The longevity is enormous (easily lasts 10 hours). Overall, a well-rounded experience where no component stands out. Possibly the best creation by Jimmy Bodin so far ...

For me: successful
Since I cannot understand the partly very negative comments posted here at all, here is a small counterargument.
At the start, we rush through the stable at lightning speed. After that, the scent quickly transforms into a wonderfully balanced rose-musk-oud, caught by a dark sweetness of vanilla. Nothing seems to me to be in the foreground, but rather beautifully balanced. A highlight for my nose. And the longevity breaks all records.

Fruity Amore Eterno
KSA opens with a broadside: After a handful of dung (I lack the expertise for the origin), a decent load of fruit follows. I believe I can recognize raspberry and plum.
At this point, I allow myself a small note due to the frequently encountered outcries: If you can't stand cow or other stable scents, you're probably venturing into the wrong territory with oud fragrances, right?
In any case, the dung throw - from whatever animal it may be - is of tolerably short duration, and the strong fruit accord fades quite quickly.
After that, the scent settles into something for which I had to engage my olfactory memory (if it exists) for a while: For me, it's a kind of mix between Fruity Aoud and Un Amore Eterno, of which I especially love the latter. Perhaps after all these years, the master is losing a bit of originality - die-hard fans may forgive me the blasphemy.
After a few hours, this fruity-amore harmony gives way to a slightly spicy, unobtrusive chocolate-vanilla sweetness, which is still pleasantly detectable to me even after nine hours.
Now a rarity from the Gulf collection, KSA is so far my favorite from this line.

Heaven for Wood Lovers
The packaging is impressive from the house of XJ, but that is certainly the least one would expect given the price. In this respect, the bottle is somewhat disappointing; while it has a certain elegance in its simplicity, mine comes with a slightly crooked stopper, so you have to find the right angle for it to look good.

Now, onto the scent itself. Fortunately, it can be applied sparingly, which somewhat relativizes the opulent price. For close encounters ;-) it is probably not suitable in the first hour or two due to its intensity: My testing friend wrinkled her nose at first - which she also did with Fetish, so I don't pay too much attention to that.
During the first few minutes, one cannot deny a slowly fading stable scent, but that dissipates after a maximum of half an hour. Otherwise, I am greeted by something akin to a Proustian madeleine, as I am intoxicated by a scent reminiscent of fresh sawdust. These notes, which - with all due respect - remind one of carpentry, linger for quite a while - those who do not like so much wood are definitely in the wrong place here.
A development can be observed over time in that, with gradually diminishing intensity, only enchanting wood and resin notes caress the senses. Wow!

For me, an absolute gem in my collection!
