Rojaddict

With this fragrance, XJ has truly set standards! It captivates me (sustainably) from the very first moment and is probably the most delicious amber creation I have ever sniffed. I am also grateful that the beloved Ylang-Ylang has been incorporated in such a way that it can be perceived and yet still be worn by a man (?).

Having now experienced a number of Xerjoff fragrances, I dare to make a comparison: namely with Roja. Both will have to take this comparison - not least because they play in the same price league, and they can't defend themselves either. Well, perhaps indirectly, if I call forth vehement advocates of one or the other with this...

In short: Unlike Roja perfumes, whose first impression can be misleading and where different notes emerge and come into play over the hours, I cannot observe such a development in any of the XJ fragrances I know. Perhaps I am too much of an inclined layman for that, and more experienced noses will wrinkle theirs at my statement.

Regardless, I love this fragrance nonetheless (or even more), as it delights me, so to speak, consistently for an entire day.

Captivating from the first spray. Coffee, cocoa, spices, incense ... Lasts easily 8 hours, during which I don't perceive any development. But that's okay, it all feels so harmonious that I enjoy sniffing it all day long.
