Delicious
I have a bottle of the original as well as this version and I love them both. The hazelnut is stroooong in the opening, it’s honestly masculine on my skin for a few minutes. This isn’t a Sol de Janeiro body mist type of gourmand, this is a grown woman gourmand so keep that in mind before you sample this scent. After the intense opening starts to mellow out, I pick up the zesty orange blossom and thick creamy vanilla and it’s such a beautiful combination. There’s nothing perfumey about this scent, it truly smells you’ve been cooking a vanilla pound cake with Nutella frosting on top with a citrus candle burning in another room. Overall, I love this scent and I wish I had a bigger bottle for the remaining winter months. Hopefully more designers add a hazelnut note in the future. 10/10.

Stunning
What a beautiful flanker. The tea note is blended beautifully and it’s not bitter or elderly at all. The opening is sweet and sparkly, the jasmine is perfectly balanced. The vanilla is powdery and not nearly as sticky sweet as the original. This is one of those designer fragrances that just smells pretty & inoffensive and perfect for any occasion. If you’re a vanilla girl like me but you want to smell fresh and clean as well, I can’t recommend this one more. The longevity is moderate until the juice macerates for a few weeks, I’ve had my bottle since last summer and the performance is perfect now.

Lemon Cake
I’m so glad I found a 50ml bottle of this at TJ Maxx. This smells like a creamy slice of lemon cheesecake with orange icing drizzled on top. The candied lemon in the opening is a little sharp, but just trust the process and wait for the drydown. The panacatta note is so smooth and buttery and it blends with the vanilla & lemon notes beautifully. I threw on a few sprays before work and I was complimented from across the room and asked to write down what I was wearing. This is perfect for someone that wants a fresh citrusy perfume but also enjoys vanilla centered gourmands. I do find it to be cloying if I overspray, the gourmand aspect becomes too much of a good thing and I get a little nauseous, so if your bottle is macerated I would keep that in mind. Overall, it’s a beautiful sweet fragrance that will layer beautifully with white florals or other gourmands. I highly recommend it for cold weather.

Beautiful
I reviewed this when I picked up my travel spray, I’m going to review it again now that I’ve had it for 3 weeks and given it a chance to macerate. The opening smells like creamy strawberry icing, as it dries down I get musky whipped cream with toasted marshmallows. The vanilla/marshmallow combo almost smells like French toast to my nose. Absolutely delicious. I can see why some people think this is better suited for teenagers, but the drydown is powdery and musky and I don’t think a lot of teen girls appreciate powder in their perfumes . This is honestly a dream Kayali release for me, I love lactonic gourmands and nothing ever compares to Kayali’s vanilla & whipped cream notes. Yum Pistachio and Yum Boujee are now tied for my favorite gourmand. As for the longevity, this is strong for the first few hours and I’ve overheard young women talking about how good I smell from across the room. This scent is stronger every time I wear it. 10/10, Kayali outdid themselves with this one.
