Oud - Liquid gold
Almost exactly a year ago I bought my first fragrance from Tom Ford's private blend collection, Tobacco Vanilla. Oud Wood is now my second perfume from this forge.
After the first spraying a sweet but also woody scent develops. As someone who has had his first oud experiences with Kilian and Maison Francis I have to say that it is difficult to filter out an oud note. It is drowned out by the scent of roses and only appears after an hour and remains extremely shy throughout. When the skin warms up after light physical exertion, the oud scent is minimally noticeable. Otherwise you will search in vain after a relatively short time.
Nevertheless, Oud Wood is a successful composition and a very beautiful fragrance. H&S on the other hand are simply sad.
I hope that the Intense version has a similar character and does not deviate strongly from the original, so that you can have a longer pleasure with this beautiful fragrance, even if in a slightly modified form.
