Iris Malikan by Maison Crivelli has a clear perfume identity. The powdery, authentic iris takes center stage and is supported by a pleasantly sweet vanilla. Leather and galbanum add a certain depth and bitterness, giving the fragrance a mini chypre accent.
Even though it is a unisex fragrance, it exudes a sweet, powdery aura that is particularly effective on a woman. However, it does not look feminine on a man.

The successor
Grey Vetiver Parfum by Tom Ford is the successor to the already well-known Eau de Parfum. The perfume opens with orange blossom, which combines with vetiver to create a soapy fragrance.
Just like the eau de parfum, the new perfume is elegant and suitable for work. Nevertheless, the perfume differs in some aspects in direct comparison to the eau de parfum. It is less citrusy and less fresh, but focuses on a more intense vetiver note that is even earthier, grassier, more aromatic, even dirtier/darker. Despite the increased intensity, the fragrance retains a certain characteristic freshness and woodiness that characterize vetiver fragrances in general.
If you already own the Grey Vetiver Eau de Parfum and are satisfied with it, you won't find much new in the new perfume ;) However, it might be worth considering if you are looking for a Grey Vetiver that is more suitable for colder weather and has a longer shelf life.
