When a perfume conveys a feeling…
Delina is one of those scents that simply conveys a good feeling and it evokes a buoyant sense of femininity and good mood in me. No matter how dreary the weather is, when I wear Delina, I feel sunshine. Somehow, I often like scents with roses in them and in pink bottles. It’s probably no coincidence! Someone has aptly described that it smells like an overload of sensations when you feel in love and your pupils dilate. I can absolutely agree with that!
I needed several attempts to truly understand and love the scent. At first, I found it quite nice, but I gifted the fragrance to my mother because I didn’t really wear it often. Occasionally, I would spray it on again when I had nothing else on and thought to myself each time, actually quite a pretty scent, and even my husband once said to me, yes, it smells somehow interesting.
Since I have been exploring the creations of Quentin Bisch lately due to my favorite Guidance, Delina has come back into my focus and I absolutely had to get it again, and now I love it very much! This rose, rhubarb, nutmeg combination is simply enchantingly beautiful! I can smell the nutmeg very well in the original, which doesn’t come through in the many dupes that are now available, and it’s exactly this slightly herbal note that I particularly like and makes the scent more harmonious.
Is the hype justified? Yes, definitely! I can understand why so many ladies adore the scent because it conveys a special feeling and sweetens your day when you let it.
Is the price justified? I would say, if it’s just about the production of the scent, definitely not. I know of a perfume manufacturer nearby that states every scent costs no more than a few euros to produce, regardless of which one, and the scents are produced synthetically nowadays, even though there are already quality differences.
Of course, the artist who created the scent needs to be paid, but most of the money goes into advertising and the luxurious bottles.
I can somewhat understand that some people don’t really connect with the scent, as it also took me a while because I simply expected something different.
Unfortunately, it also spoils a scent for me when every second woman owns it, but that’s just how it is with all the great things; you don’t have them all to yourself. What can you do? I don’t live in a big city, and here I rarely encounter ladies who use the same scent as I do. So, I wear what I like and what makes me happy, and Delina is currently comforting me through the gray, cold weather and brings a smile to my face. When I spray the scent, I see a beautiful, well-groomed, enchanting woman in my thoughts, and I think that’s exactly what the scent is supposed to convey and emphasize.

Lady Signature…
Chanel Mademoiselle is simply the delicate and sometimes a bit sassy scent of a woman, evoking many different facets of femininity and leaving a lasting impression. I can absolutely understand why many ladies of all ages are enchanted, attracted, and happy with this fragrance.
Coco Mademoiselle carries many facets within it: fresh, tart, spicy, warm, sensual, elegant, romantic, innocent, unobtrusive, minimalist, and yet extravagant... etc.
Somehow, the fragrance can almost do it all and suits many women and occasions. It is never too much and never too little.
It opens fresh, citrusy, then becomes sweet, herbaceous floral, only to reveal its slightly oriental, cozy base, and without drifting into the trivial, it maintains its refinement and elegance.
I have come to really like Chanel fragrances because they simply do not smell cheap and are truly well-made, and because they are feminine and really smell like a woman. It is nice to be proud of being a real woman and to underline that with a fragrance.
The scent of women indeed............ :)

But of course, everyone should wear what they like!

Guidance 46
Where should I start?
First, I must say that for me, Guidance 46 and the regular Guidance 2 are completely different fragrances.
I have truly fallen in love with the regular Guidance and could really bathe in it; I also get compliments on the scent almost every time. The regular one is much brighter, and I find the hazelnut to be much more enchanting and sweeter overall.
The 46 is darker, creamier, rosier, and spicier for me, and it lasts much longer on my skin. I wish the regular one had this longevity because it is my absolute dream scent.
With the 46, I smell a lot of creamy spicy rose and something resinous and balsamic, not too sweet, and a bit more elegant and mature, and it lasts and lasts and lasts.
Now I’m considering whether I should just layer the fragrances from time to time because I really love the top notes of the first one, the amazing hazelnut, and the creamy cleanliness and longevity of the other. It will be an expensive fun! :))
Both fragrances are totally complex, balanced, and harmonious for me. There’s nothing that disturbs or comes off as overpowering. Just a fluffy, spicy, and slightly sweet cloud of stardust that wants to guide me. Where to, I don’t know, maybe to myself or to heaven, but I definitely enjoy the journey with this incredibly attractive companion. I love both versions, but the first one makes me somehow happier and makes me shine. I wouldn’t want to give up either now that I know them both, but if I had to choose ONLY one fragrance, it would be the first.

Creamy Oriental
Today I was in our little perfumery and actually wanted to see if there was anything from Amouage, and then they showed me the fragrances from Houbigant, which I had actually never heard of before. After briefly explaining which scents I like, I was sprayed with this one and also received a sample and was invited to a test evening with sparkling wine and snacks to get to know the fragrances.
It is said to be a traditional house with a long experience in oriental scents. Interesting!!!
At first, the fragrance didn't excite me that much, but over the last few hours on my arm, it became increasingly balsamic, creamy, and beautiful. A very soft and cozy oriental with a light chocolate note or caramel, but definitely not too sweet, perfectly dosed. The tonka bean is also very noticeable for a long time and pleasantly so. The fruity aspect is softly woven in, as is the incense. I think both women and men can wear this well, as fragrances develop quite differently on them. On women, it smells a bit softer.
I’m really considering whether I need this fragrance. The bottle is also beautiful! It definitely smells elegant and high-quality!

Cleopatra's Milk Bath with Hazelnut
Recently, no niche fragrance has impressed me as much as BR40, because they either smell too sweet, too synthetic, or somehow all smell almost the same at the moment, and I've returned to classic or rather floral or traditional scents. My latest purchases were Florabloom Forte by Guerlain or the well-known Coco Mademoiselle, because they always work, flatter, smell feminine, and are always well-received by others.
I was at a perfume shop yesterday with my friend and was almost a bit bored, because I didn't think anything new could appeal to me, and I actually have enough perfume. She bought 5 new niche fragrances right away, and I had recommended a few to her since I know her taste.

At some point, the salesperson guided me to test a fragrance, and at first, it reminded me strongly of Essence de Orient by Rituals, but somehow it was much more complex and creamier, and the longer it was on my arm, the more beautiful it became and the more I liked it. The Rituals scent is not as complex, but before I knew Guidance, I would have definitely confused it if I had smelled Guidance somewhere.

I wasn't sure, but somehow I had to take it with me, and I'm already looking forward to wearing it often and seeing the effect it will have on my surroundings.

The scent is very complex, and you can tell that it has been very well blended and that there is a fine nose behind it. The incense is present but well woven with floral, woody, and fruity notes, which by the way really read like a poem. I also really like saffron in fragrances. It smells very creamy, like Cleopatra's cream bath with many high-quality oils and rose petals on top, and I find it very clean, well-groomed, and feminine, which doesn't mean it couldn't work for men as well if it suits their type. The idea that it should smell like feminine intimate areas I consider a rumor. It may have a pheromone-like effect, but for me, the scent has nothing indecent about it.

I'm curious if it will become a kind of new signature scent, because it actually has pretty much everything I expect from a signature: it lasts long, projects well, is airy light mineral, elegant and clean, yet seductive and cozy.
Hopefully, it won't soon be worn by every second person like BR40.

The fact that it lingers on clothes or scarves for a long time doesn't bother me either, because this musky fluff that holds so well on textiles just smells incredibly well-groomed and doesn't overwhelm me.

The only thing that bothers me is that the scent somehow settles on my tongue, and I hope I don't get a headache from it, but I try not to spray it too close to my face. If you spray it on your neck or hair, you get more of it anyway, because you catch a whiff every now and then and don't become nose-blind right away.

My beautiful new companion makes me smell like an oriental princess! :)
