Great Fruity Aquatic Freshie
When I first sprayed it on, I immediately thought, "Wait a minute... I know this smell!" Well well well. It smells exactly like Pure Wood ! It is actually one of my most fav freshies for the summer.
And when I said these two smell alike, I mean as in they smell *almost* identical. Just that Blue Talisman has a hint more citrus in the beginning, but their dry-downs are definitely identical.

The scent:
It is fresh, fruity, a bit sweet? and with some synthetic woody base (something Iso E Super alike) which I guess came from the Akigalawood? Imagine mixing either Pear Inc. or Bal d'Afrique Eau de Parfum with Molecule 01. You'll get almost similar fruity, juicy sweet, woody notes. I think this is certainly right down the middle unisex.

The performance:
This one actually has really great performance. I sprayed it in the morning before going to the office, and I could still smell it on me 12 hours later even after having a gym session.
So longevity is great, and sillage is great too. Not too much, not too faint. I have a personal scent bubble that is not offensive.

For the price, I guess it's rather fair considering it has great longevity and moderate projection (which is rare for freshies)! But, I mean... if you go to your nearby Müller, give Pure Wood a sniff and you can save €175+ ‍️

Musky Cat Fur
Okay hear me out, if you have cats and they use plant fiber or wood pellet litter... this smells like the belly fur of my cats.

It's musky, woody, warm, humid, and just slightly animalic. It's like mornings I woke up with my cats snuggling with me under the blanket.

I love this scent so much! To my nose, it lasts for a couple of days when sprayed on clothes. However, the sillage is rather poor. I do get faint wafts of it throughout the day, I guess it's just how it is with such fully molecular fragrance.

However, as I mentioned earlier, though I love this smell, it does have that humid and animalic aspects. It's borderline sweaty/damp smell, reminds me of the smell of the inside of the laundry basket full of my worn slightly sweaty stinky t-shirts lol.

Because of that, I don't think I would want to wear this outside of my home. And when you put into account the price, for basically just a home/going-to-bed scent... I don't think it's worth it.

Diet Tobacco Vanille
First of all, I have to say, the scent itself is beautiful. However, I'm still very disappointed by this perfume. To sum it up: this is like a diet version of Tobacco Vanille. If Jo Malone makes a remix of Tobacco Vanille, this would be it lol. This to me is basically tobacco and pencil shavings (Iso-E Super).

Admittedly, I LOVE woody perfumes and have many great ones in my collection. From dry wood, green wood, to heavy wood, I love them all (well, except oud... I can't stand oud). So I guess I just had too high of expectation?

To my nose, the cedar and other woods here only exist mostly as top notes. It was there... and then poof! gone in 15 minutes. The tobacco note is stronger and actually lingers the whole time.

But what made me even more disappointed is, the performance is like watered-down Tobacco Vanille! Longevity is below average, and sillage is poor. Normally if I spray on my clothes, perfumes would perform better. But not this one... it's just as shit. And for that price??? Not in this economy!

A Hidden Gem!
This is so underrated. I find this scent deeply relaxing and comforting. It smells so natural, like creamy dry cedar wood and with some bergamot/citrusy touch at the beginning.

To my nose, this reminds me of Tam Dao from Diptyque, which is also definitely cedar-forward. However, having coming from S.E. Asia background, I find that Tam Dao smells EXACTLY like one of the coconut curries and/or Laksa lol. This though, never got into that savoury-gourmand territory for me. Just smells as if I'm sitting in an empty, unused sauna.

I find the performance to be really great, especially considering the price. It's not a beast, but it has good sillage and lasts for 6+ hours on my skin.

A palatable salty aromatic
I love wearing this in the summer. It's salty but not too salty which sometimes could smell like bad BO to my nose. This one is just the right amount of saltiness.

If you love Wood Sage & Sea Salt by Jo Malone, you'll love this one even more. That one has shit performance. This on the other hand, I sprayed it yesterday late afternoon on my skin, and could still smell it very clearly the day after. The sillage is not beastly, but who wants that in the summer anyway?

I find this perfectly unisex. Just a beautiful aromatic, salty, slightly aquatic freshie perfect for the summer (with excellent performance)!
