Different than expected but still good
After a sharing did not materialize, I bought it blind in the souk - against my better intentions. I was expecting something aquatic with a honey note. I was hoping for a similarity to "Armani Privé - Bleu Turquoise | Giorgio Armani", only with honey instead of vanilla.
What I got was the scent of sweet mulled wine. It reminds me a bit of "Santal Royal (Eau de Parfum) | Guerlain" without oud or a more grown-up version of "John Galliano (Eau de Parfum) | John Galliano", but it's definitely similar to "Ambre Nuit | Dior"
Even though I don't notice anything aquatic and it's quite different from what I expected, I like it. It smells warm, quite sweet with very light and pleasant acidity (like warm, red berries) and minimal delicate spiciness, all well and elegantly blended. Or just like warm, honey-sweetened, non-alcoholic mulled wine. Beautiful.
