Celestial by Electimuss - A heavenly perfume?
I admit, I had to think for a while to figure out which fragrance I should dedicate my first review here on Parfumo to. So I stood there, my eyes wandering through my collection, thinking about all the fragrances that have had a significant influence on my olfactory passion for collecting, encouraging me and driving it forward. As I took a step to the side, lost in thought, and the sun illuminated my cupboard, which was now filled with far too many perfumes, a bottle caught my attention. A Roman eagle flashed out from between the conglomerate of fragrances and sparkled at me sublimely, while the milky white base seemed to literally absorb the rays, holding them completely within itself. I carefully picked up the glass and shimmering metal structure, which was modeled on the opulence of the ancient Roman Empire, maneuvered it through the numerous other bottles towards freedom and smiled at the name - "Celestial, you shall have the honor of my first review."

Fragrance progression
The fragrance opens primarily with peppery olibanum, saffron and a sweet but almost equally tart raspberry note. After the first few minutes, a light rose joins in, which develops a certain warmth on the skin. As the fragrance progresses, it steadily gains in intensity, while the woody, slightly smoky notes of cedar and, above all, guaiac wood gradually contrast the composition further and lend it additional depth. The tonka bean remains very much in the background, but adds a minimal sweetness and gives the overall olfactory picture a slightly powdery texture.

Performance
Longevity: 8 -10 hours
Sillage/projection:
up to approx. hour 2 - moderate to strong
up to approx. hour 5 - moderate
up to approx. hour 7 - weak
from approx. hour 7 - very close

It should be noted that the raspberry note in the air is even more pronounced in direct comparison to the skin

Occasion/season
Due to its inherent elegance, I tend to wear the fragrance for semi-formal to formal occasions.
In view of its bright characteristics, I find spring to be the most suitable season. In general, however, it can also be worn up to temperatures of approx. 20 - 25 °C. If the temperatures are too warm, the fragrance could be perceived as too overpowering due to its DNA, at least in our latitudes.

Packaging/bottle
The fragrance comes in a beautiful box lined with shiny nuances and faux suede.
The bottle is made of golden metal and thick glass, is solid and of high quality. The lid is also made of metal and fits snugly. A Roman eagle, the Electimuss trademark, is enthroned on both the front of the bottle and the lid.
The spray head fits perfectly into the otherwise consistently high-quality image and produces a very fine, even mist.

Conclusion
Celestial is a beautiful, bright interpretation of the rose/wood DNA, which not only exudes a pleasant lightness, but also a comprehensive degree of elegance. Contextually, the fragrance is beautifully embedded in its underlying inspiration and name, which brings us to the answer to the question posed in the headline - yes, Celestial is a truly heavenly perfume with its bright, fruity-rosy contrasts, slightly powdery texture and grounding, woody accords.

A final note: similarities to Nemer by Boadicea the Victorious or Oud al Fayed by Christian Provenzano (minus the funky oud) cannot be dismissed, but in my opinion they do not make the fragrance any less interesting and beautiful.
