The opening is bone-dry with vanilla and a cinnamon synthetic. The not-so-expensive craftsmanship is clearly noticeable in the first few minutes. I particularly notice this on a test strip. When applied and in the air, it is significantly softer in the opening, and the aforementioned craftsmanship does not weigh as heavily. Over time, the fragrance becomes rounder and warmer. It is sweet, but this is balanced by very dry woods and the vanilla. As a quiet player (for a sweet fragrance), it makes a well-groomed and unobtrusive impression, which could naturally change with the dosage. The Ambroxan base with the woodiness can be perceived again and again in between and has a somewhat sporty freshness, which keeps the fragrance from becoming too heavy.

Opening with a synthetically fresh mandarin. This becomes creamy and is countered by soft spices. It comes across to me as if a fruity-fresh milk drink has been made from a Fanta. Fruity and creamy, without smelling sour or unpleasant in any way. However, this drink has carbonation, as the opening is sparkling! I also catch a hint of anise in my nose. In the drydown, the sweetness of the fragrance and the creaminess remain. In the end, a lovely base of Ambroxan lingers. The scent has a brutal longevity for me; it lasts for days on clothing and I can still perceive it on my skin even after showering.

A very nice opening - creamy, floral, and with a hint of marzipan. I don't perceive the pineapple. The lavender gives the fragrance a slight aftershave charm. As it develops, I repeatedly notice the warmly embedded vanilla, which reminds me of vanilla crescents. Due to its composition, it doesn't come across as gourmand to me, but rather warm and elegant - without being intrusive, as long as it is applied discreetly. The fragrance is very potent; two sprays are more than enough for me. A larger amount becomes too much for me - similar to Joop! Homme: too overpowering and synthetic, which can easily lead to headaches. However, when well dosed, I enjoy wearing both. The longevity is very good - easily eight hours.

The scent initially put me off because it opens very green and herbaceous.

Even though it is not listed, it is a fresh fragrance. At the same time, it has depth from the pine needles, which give it a somewhat woody character.

What I find beautiful in this scent is the vetiver, which blends well with my skin and feels warm and clean. Especially when it gets warmer, I keep getting waves of the scent throughout the day.

I find its inexpensive drugstore origin more than meets the eye. Perhaps it is not for the younger crowd, as it is a bit more herbaceous and less accessible. However, it is a great companion in the office. Quietly elegant and profound. Not exciting, but elegant and beautiful.

At first, I thought the opening of mandarin and bergamot was grapefruit. The initial impression briefly reminded me of the original. However, the mandarin quickly makes its way and remains fruity sweet for a while. It soon turns herbaceous and takes a turn towards green aftershave in the style of Sir Irish Moos or Pitralon. The moss in the scent rounds it out at the edges, avoiding any roughness like that of a robust aftershave. Throughout the entire scent development, it remains clean and slightly soapy for me.

One cannot expect great projection here; the fragrance stays in line with a cologne. After 3 to 4 hours, the longevity is over.

Due to the more herbaceous, aftershave-like notes, I would recommend it more for men and young ones who aspire to be. The fresh opening also makes it wearable for a younger target audience.

I think this is a great scent for slightly warmer days and suits all outdoor activities.

For the price, you can't go wrong.
