Surprisingly Good!
This is my first review, please be kind to me. I haven't been in the perfume game for long, but it has developed into a big hobby and brings me immense joy.

Now to the scent. To be honest, I can only partially understand the negative review of this fragrance. The biggest mistake by Dior, in my opinion, was categorizing the scent in the Homme line. This fragrance has nothing to do with that line in terms of scent; it simply lacks the iris... which is also the main reason for the poor rating. Should we not give this fragrance a chance right from the start because of Dior's mistake? I don't think so. I also maintain my opinion that this fragrance would have been received much better on Parfumo if Dior had given it a different, standalone name. Additionally, I want to mention that the "old" Dior Homme EdT is still being produced and sold. It has not been discontinued.

The scent itself is really great and particularly very versatile. I see it suitable for the office, leisure, and even for a date. However, I do not recommend it in winter or on cold days, as it is simply too weak for that. I detect a slight similarity to Bleu de Chanel towards the end. Otherwise, it is very distinctive.

The woody, spicy freshness does not clash in any way and is generally pleasing to everyone. It's not really something new or groundbreaking. The woodiness is very prominent from start to finish. To me, it smells very high-quality; I do not perceive it as synthetic at all. My biggest criticism is rather the mediocre performance. Unfortunately, it becomes very close to the skin quite quickly.

At least with this fragrance, I think we are safe from reformulations that would make its longevity even worse, as otherwise it would really be on D&G The One level. :P

Overall, a very pleasant, woody fragrance that has now become a staple in my collection. I wouldn't want to miss it.
