The ONE fragrance...
Since I dared my jump into the rabbit hole of fragrance arts 3 years ago, I was allowed to discover a lot. For a long time, all fragrances smelled the same to me - no matter what I sniffed in the standard perfumeries, everything was quasi "La Vie est Belle L'Eau de Parfum | Lancôme" for me. Thanks to Parfumo, and the great samples and sharings here, completely new worlds opened up.

I tried me through umpteen brands, niche - from Amouage to XerJoff- and Indie, extreeem expensive fragrances and extreeeem hard to get fragrances (hello "box | Slumberhouse" ). Fell in love countless times, saw new horizons and fragrances that I have never smelled.
Nevertheless, I never found the ONE fragrance that captivated me so much that I only want to smell him.

Then, quite unexpectedly, after a question about possible relatives of "Mon Précieux Nectar | Guerlain", was recommended to me in the forum Classique Pin-Up. Ok, why not order - after all, I had already bought quite other price categories blind. I liked the Guerlain, this one should last longer. The reviews are ok. Why not test - sell in the souk if necessary.

When it arrived, the bottle was already seeehr kitschy and the lemon ginger note to start a bit strange. But at the same time "merk-würdig". Everything that came after was terrific!!!! An adult marshmallow hint with pleasant vanilla and feminine soft orange blossom envelops me. Carried by ambergris, my favorite scent note, which I perceive here only in a way that makes me subliminally addicted without being animalic or intrusive. Still, it's not mundane or standard. He could be qualitatively definitely niche.

Pin Up is ME! Soft, friendly, sweet without being tacky, cuddly warm, but completely without kitsch! Not intrusive, just wonderfully fluffy without being childish. A pure feminine dream. And that, where he is so not at all hyped.

He holds with me all day and is perceptible, but never intrusive. A fine sillage he has, but completely within the framework. Perfect! An Immergeher, which works on the job just as when cuddling. I just want to smell SO.

So it happened that after a 3-year fragrance journey, Ms. Silverwheel chose a banal designer flanker as her signature scent. And that, after she has never tolerated JPG fragrances and has long sworn off the subject of "signature" due to the variety of fragrances ("why should you wear only ONE fragrance?? How boring!")

Sometimes it does not need a rational answer to the question. Since you wear the fragrance simply in 2 months as often as other "favorite fragrances" in 2 years. Sometimes a fragrance simply finds you and takes you in Beschlag. You no longer ask yourself what you want to wear in the morning, you spray automatically. And cradle yourself in the fluffy bliss of your great fragrance love. Ok, from time to time I still go "foreign", but I always come back in the evening at the latest. ;-)

I am curious how long this great love lasts. One thing she deserves but in any case: its own review!!! So herewith Pin-Up is warmly recommended to all who like soft, feminine-cuddly, compatible and yet extraordinary fragrances - especially now in autumn. I think in any case, we will still have a lot of fun together.

White flowers in salt water
The sea air gently blows over my hair. Grains of sand caress and tickle my legs with every step over warm-wet sand. Every few seconds the waves wet my feet and wash gravel, shells and seaweed leaves to the beach. On the dunes, white flowers sway in the wind and exude their attractant scent dancing. The midday sun dries the sea water drops until only a soft film of salt covers my warm skin and makes me dream of a never ending holiday...

For a long time I was looking for a fresh and yet durable summer scent that smells neither of lemon nor of cool water.

Walk the Sea is the perfect fragrance for hot days... and holds and holds and holds. Burned right into my heart, and I'll never give it up again. It starts fresh and maritime with unmistakable salt notes. Like a fresh breeze from the Mediterranean in spring. Amber nestles underneath, accompanied by white flowers that don't seem too feminine. Apart from the salt note, the scent remains quite linear and lasts for hours. He develops a very fine animal touch, which reminds me of tanned warm skin - but without the typical coconut impact.

Tested it in Cretan May sun at almost 30 degrees. Also here it stops at me almost 10 hours without being intrusive. The sillage and projection are not exactly weak for a summer scent, but do not kill even in the midday sun.

For me Walk the Sea is absolutely unisex, if man has no problem with the nuances of white flowers. For me a masterpiece that I will never want to miss in my perfume collection again.

Plum wine Kuschergourmand from the steel calyx
My first comment here is now my favourite fragrance of this winter, because it finally deserves a detailed description: Rosé All Daé comes from the American "Self-Made-Perumer" Daniel Gallagher and has already earned some laurels internationally. In Germany it seems - difficult to get there - still quite unknown. It should be said that the acquisition costs are DEFINITIVally appropriate. Rosé All Daé is a wonderful gourmand scent that fits perfectly in autumn and winter and is a great companion both during the day and in the evening.

It starts with a mixture of apple, plum and honey, which is definitely related to Ambre Narguilé and Back to Black. It is sweet in any case and in the prelude not a bit discreet. An alcoholic note is also indisputably perceptible - after all, a sweet rosé wine is said to have served as inspiration. It smells more like plum wine to me than rosé. And that's after this plum wine, which used to be served as an aperitif with Chinese people. With a freshly baked apple pie next to it.

What I find particularly exciting about the whole creation, however, is the art mark "steel". It doesn't seem to work with many people, but I smell it very clearly and it gives the scent in my eyes its special character compared to the similarly sniffing relationship. This slightly cold metallic, the contrast program to the warm, spicy fragrance, makes the composition extraordinary and exciting. The triad of apple pie, plum wine and steel then holds itself linearly for hours. Over time, patchouli and tonka bean have been added. This makes the steel softer, but still more noticeable. All in all a really exciting fragrance work of art.

The shelf life is outstanding: sprayed on at 7 in the morning, I still smell it after a working day at 21 o'clock in the evening. The projection is very clear at the beginning for 3-4 hours and then gets closer to the skin. It never gets annoying or too intrusive, even if the small private "scene bubble" remains perceptible throughout. This really makes him a great unisex all-rounder (maybe one tick more direction female) for autumn and winter - moreover his character is not heavy and oppressive in spite of the gourmandiness in my nose, but pleasantly cosy. Like a very warm, fluffy, but very light cuddly blanket - albeit with steel decorations.
