Who Sweetened the Plum Wine?
A fragrance that makes you feel slightly tipsy just by smelling it. Boozy plum wine with a full dose of sweetness and rose. Certainly not for everyone and not a candidate for a blind buy. But those looking to try something eccentric will find it here.

It almost feels like an extrait. Not necessarily because of the longevity but rather due to its "In-Your-Face" sillage, which thankfully tapers off a bit. Otherwise, it would be too much with this sweetness.

Imagine a crystal decanter and some high-quality plum wine. For extra sweetness, a bit of sugar poured in. Next to it, an open jar of fresh flower honey from the beekeeper. And an elegant vase with some pink roses. This image can smell like Rose all Dae.

That such a DNA massively limits its everyday wearability is one side of the coin. But then finding a suitable occasion that truly matches the fragrance... difficult. Certainly good for a dinner at a quality restaurant, as long as you don’t overspray.

Plum Wine Cozy Gourmand from the Steel Chalice
My first comment here is dedicated to my favorite scent of this winter, as it finally deserves a detailed presentation: Rosé All Daé comes from the American "self-made perfumer" Daniel Gallagher and has already garnered some accolades internationally. In Germany, it seems to be quite unknown due to its scarcity. It must be said: The effort to acquire it is DEFINITELY worth it. Rosé All Daé is a wonderful gourmand fragrance that fits perfectly in autumn and winter, serving as a great companion both during the day and in the evening.

It opens with a blend of apple, plum, and honey, which is definitely related to Ambre Narguilé and Back to Black. It is sweet for sure and not subtle at all in the opening. An alcoholic note is also undeniably noticeable - after all, a sweet rosé wine is said to have served as inspiration. To me, it smells more like plum wine than rosé. Specifically, it reminds me of the plum wine that was once served as an aperitif at Chinese restaurants, alongside a freshly baked apple pie.

What I find particularly intriguing about the entire creation is the artistic note of "steel." Many seem not to perceive it, but I smell it quite distinctly, and it gives the fragrance, in my eyes, its uniqueness compared to its similarly sniffing relatives. This slightly cold metallic aspect, which contrasts with the warm-spicy scent, makes the composition extraordinary and exciting. The triad of apple pie, plum wine, and steel remains linear for me over hours. Over time, patchouli and tonka bean increasingly join in. This softens the steel, but it remains noticeable. Overall, it is truly an exciting olfactory artwork.

The longevity is outstanding: Sprayed on at 7 in the morning, I can still smell it at 9 in the evening after a day at work. The projection is very pronounced for the first 3-4 hours and then becomes closer to the skin. It never becomes annoying or too overpowering, although the small private "scent bubble" remains consistently perceptible. Thus, it is truly a great unisex all-rounder (perhaps leaning a bit more towards feminine) for autumn and winter - moreover, despite its gourmand nature, its character in my nose is not heavy or suffocating, but rather pleasantly cozy. Like a very warm, fluffy, yet very light cuddly blanket - albeit with steel embellishments.

Rosé All Daé is a gourmand rose. In the opening, sweet apple with honey and a juicy plum. You get a jammy rose with cinnamon and tonka bean.

This is the type of shit you wear when you're about to go get some bottomless mimosas and then possibly do some more bottoming later.

Slightly rotting fruit steeped in strong alcohol, sweet yet cut with an unpleasant bitterness. Plum, powdery rose, chocolatey patchouli.

It was good while it lasted. Heard these are getting the chop. Unfortunate. Great rose for every occasion

Drunken patchouli-rose
that sleeps off its buzz in
a woody musk bed ;)
Tonka resin & a bit of jam subtly
noticeable.

I poured out the carbonation from the pineapple soda.
Then added sugar, honey. Hmmm. Sweet and sticky!
Garnished with rose petals...

dark red velvety Gothic rose with plum wine. Rose is dark, not too rosy, clearly muted by the patchouli. dark-sweet. beautiful and high-quality.

A special and very interesting rose scent.
Embedded in balsamic, sugary resins, delicate fruit, and warm, soft wood spices. Great!

Sweet apple pie, drizzled with honey. Plus plum liqueur. On the table, dark red, velvety roses. In the DD tonka vanilla-musk. It's okay.
