I almost bought my first Xerjoff today.
Right from the start, I really liked the scent. I sniffed the test strip for a while, smelling it again and again - I enjoyed every new unfolding of the fragrance. Then I tried it on my skin. Unfortunately, it develops a certain earthy smell there that I don't like on myself.
However, the different nuances were really very nice to sniff.
It smells beautifully spicy, and in the end, there's also a hint of vanilla. It felt like it smelled completely different every 15 minutes and surprised me each time.
After about 6 hours, unfortunately, there's nothing left of the scent. I somehow expected more.

5-Minute Coconut Delight
After using a friend's sunscreen over the weekend and continually enjoying its lovely scent, I set out to find a summery sweet coconut fragrance and was excited to find a cheap option here...
Unfortunately, my nose only perceives the sweet coconut in the first 5 minutes. It smells very good and just as I had hoped, but I'm glad I took the test strip home and gave the fragrance time to develop. Because 10 minutes later, there was no trace of the sweet coconut left. Instead, it smelled very, very fresh and aquatic. I didn't pick up on any flowers, nor any vanilla. What a pity.
A day later, I still can't smell any of the base notes. It just smells very aquatic, almost reminiscent of Cool Water Woman.
The fragrance pyramid is therefore completely incomprehensible to me.

So unfortunately, this is not the right scent for me.

Fragrance to fall in love with
This fragrance is insane! And in a very special, sublime way! Not in the sense that it knocks you off your feet, but simply enchanting. The delicate notes are truly captivating.

This is how it must smell in a wonderful castle. When I smell "Collection Extraordinaire - Orchidée Vanille | Van Cleef & Arpels," I envision a noble ballroom in my mind's eye … a very special glow, the finest dresses one can imagine, the most exquisite crystal and ice sculptures, the most soothing sounds,...

It definitely smells like vanilla, but in such a special way. A certain floral lightness resonates. I can clearly perceive the mandarin in the top note. Likewise, the violet in the heart note. The cedar in the base note doesn’t come through for me, but that’s okay.

A truly wonderful fragrance! Great love!

Fruity Fresh Teenage Years
Fruity and fresh. I really enjoyed wearing this fragrance when it was released and still associate it with a certain lightheartedness, simply because it reminds me of my teenage years.
By now, my taste has changed a bit.
I find it okay, it's definitely not bothersome. The best part of the scent is probably the lily of the valley. Maybe it's the berry cocktail... But overall, it's just not something special for me anymore. I most often wear it for sports today.
The bottle actually looks quite cool. I like both the shape and the color.

Who Stole the Coconut?
I can't smell the coconut here. But that's not a problem; I was simply surprised that it was supposed to be included. Instead, I can clearly perceive the orange blossom.

Overall, for me, it's a scent that somewhat reminds me of the fragrance of baby products - in a positive sense, of course. It smells somewhat spicy, yet soft and delicate at the same time. The scent makes me feel secure and energetic at the same time. I can perceive it on my clothes all day long, and a gentle hint of it keeps wafting into my nose, making me take notice.

I also find the bottle very appealing. Classic and elegant, with no modern, experimental shapes that are meant to look "cool." It decoratively stands in my bathroom, and I always enjoy looking at it while washing my hands, occasionally picking it up just to take a sniff.
