If you can smell it - it's gorgeous
The first time I sprayed milk on my wrist I was left with a stupefied..."I can't smell anything here." I was disappointed, given my bad habit of blind buying fragrances when I'm bored, but figured I'd donate it or sell it to someone.
A couple of hours later I came back into the room where I first sprayed it and was hit with the most gorgeous of scents.
It's sweet, lactonic, with a hint of citrus that brightens the whole thing. There are days where I still find myself nose blind, but most of the the time this is the perfect layering scent.
My favoite layering combinations: Ani, Lune Féline, Debaser, Sol de Janeiro 62

Peppery Water
The title says it all. The infamous Glossier You - a perfume who's generated more articles in the mainstream media than I can count - is a peppery musk that left me a little disappointed. Perhaps it's because I prefer my "second skin" scents to be a touch sweeter (Reserve skin, Musk 12, Xtra Milk to name a few) but You doesn't warrant a full bottle for me.
With that being said, it's a very good layering base for Cloud by AG.

Cardamon Vanilla
Ani was my entry scent into the cardamon world - beforehand, I fond the note far too cloying, but somehow with Ain came a change of heart.
I'm a big fan of Nishane has a house, and the quality of this fragrance is on par with the other's I've tried/own. Ani is a beautiful blend of Cardamon and vanilla, with a peppery ginger.
It reminds me a lot of Lune Féline, another favourite of mine for cold weather.

Lavender Musk
I ordered this after reading that it was "lavender done very well". At the price point, it was worth the blind buy and it did not disappoint. I love lavender and this perfume is no exception.
From my notes, which is loosely based on vibes as opposed to notes: it smells like wearing you boyfriend's cologne.
I like to layer this with a lavender cream - otherwise I find that it's more of a whisper than an invitation, but overall an excellent scent that I like to wear before heading to bed.

Cedar & Incense
I sample this at Ritual's store in Ireland. It was a rainy day, I was looking for a souvenir to bring home, and I stumbled onto their new collection.
In my notes which is loosely based on vibes as opposed of notes, I wrote : "lighting a stick of incense and smelling your boyfriends cologne on a shirt you stole from him before leaving."
It's smooth and woody, it lingers on you.
