A Luxurious Yet Elusive Marine Symphony
The Oceania combines an aromatic woody composition with a distinctive artistic touch. The bottle features a luxurious design that reflects high quality, adorned with a cap featuring shiny blue stones that evoke the color of the sea, complemented by a golden frame that enhances its elegance. The bottle’s design suggests a focus on a marine theme, but the scent does not fully embody the expected oceanic character, despite containing a diverse and well-crafted blend of floral and citrus notes, along with subtle powdery accents. It also showcases a variety of notes such as lemon, grapefruit, lavender, and jasmine, indicating a rich, multi-layered composition. However, the harmony among these elements seems slightly lacking, making the fragrance appear modest and less potent than what one might expect from a marine scent. The actual performance falls short in terms of longevity and strong sillage, lasting only about five hours on the skin, which may be considered weak given its high price, aligning with its classification as a premium summer fragrance. The scent offers a refreshing feel, reminiscent of lying on the beach with a light water mist and sunscreen, yet it leans more toward a masculine profile rather than a feminine one, with delicate floral touches that add a refined but not particularly captivating character. Ultimately, while the fragrance boasts high-quality ingredients, it suffers from a lack of balance, making it less distinctive than advertised, especially given the high expectations tied to the Roja Dove name.
Attention neroli lovers!
When I consider the Nio fragrance from Xerjoff, I feel a mix of admiration and deep reflection. The scent takes me on a refreshing summer journey, as if I’m strolling through the southern Italian countryside, where Calabrian bergamot and neroli blend with gentle breezes carrying pure green notes. I enjoy its citrusy opening, which merges with mysterious spicy touches of cardamom, nutmeg, and pink pepper, before settling into a warm woody base of cedar, Haitian vetiver, amber, and patchouli, creating unforgettable romantic scent memories. I consider it a classic fragrance ideal for neroli lovers, and while using it, I appreciate its clear sillage and strong longevity, lasting around seven hours. However, deep down, I find its scent lacks the uniqueness I crave, resembling other market fragrances, which leads me to question whether its high price is justified, especially since I’ve discovered similar designer alternatives at a much lower cost. Still, I rate it personally 7/10 as one of the most balanced and beautiful summer scents, but my experience with it led me to buy it only once, without repurchasing, perhaps because I’m seeking something more distinctive within the Xerjoff range.

The Elysium Pour Homme Parfum is a masterful fragrance crafted by the renowned perfumer Roja Dove. The bottle stands out with a luxurious design, blending a brilliant gold finish with black crystal accents, reflecting the high quality and uniqueness of the scent. This is a highly pure and distinctive fragrance, not suited for everyone due to its bold character and rarity of imitation, making it an ideal signature scent that expresses personal identity.
The fragrance features a stunning progression of notes, being the deepest within the Elysium series. It opens with a refreshing blend of citrus fruits like grapefruit and lemon, complemented by artemisia and galbanum, which add a rich green touch. The heart unfolds with apple, lily of the valley, pink pepper, jasmine, and rose, creating an elegant balance of freshness and warmth. The base shines with ambergris, musk, leather, benzoin, labdanum, and vanilla, offering a warm and lasting depth. The fragrance delivers above-average performance with an impressive composition that highlights the purity and precision of its ingredients.
However, its only drawback is the high price (approximately $250 for a 50 ml bottle) and limited availability in markets, making it preferable to purchase through the official Roja Parfums website. It is one of my personal favorite fragrances, embodying the pinnacle of masculinity and olfactory creativity from my perspective.

Grapefruit Revolution
Tygar is a luxurious fragrance masterpiece from the Le Gemme collection. It features a vibrant, fresh citrus scent with deep woody and musky notes. The exceptionally pure and high-quality grapefruit note stands out, lending the fragrance an elegant and lively character. It is considered a revolutionary citrus fragrance due to its distinctive use of grapefruit, which shines prominently in the top notes.
One of its main drawbacks is the high price (exceeding $400 for a 125ml bottle). Due to its fame and quality, it has been widely imitated, with its core scent now available in other fragrances at lower prices.
- Sillage: Strong – noticeably fills the space around you.
- Longevity: Excellent (lasts up to 7 hours or more).
In conclusion: Those who own the original fragrance know there is no perfect substitute for it.

Mango on fire
Vulcan Feu, crafted by the Emirati house French Avenue, stands out as one of the brand’s most prominent fragrances, if not its finest.
Performance is slightly above average, offering a longevity of approximately 4 hours with moderate sillage.
Classified as a unisex fragrance, its composition leans slightly more masculine at 60%, while still suitable for women at 40%. It is particularly ideal for daytime wear during spring and summer.
The fragrance boasts a high-quality composition, free from noticeable synthetic or off-putting notes, with only a faint, non-offensive initial alcohol scent.
When compared to God of Fire by Stéphane Humbert Lucas 777, there is a noticeable similarity in their overall concept, both sharing a sweet, tropical, fruity character, with an estimated 60% resemblance. However, God of Fire clearly surpasses Vulcan Feu in terms of purity, projection, sillage, and innovative composition, which is expected given its distinct positioning and price point.
Despite the media hype surrounding Vulcan Feu in the summer of 2025, driven by paid marketing campaigns, it proves to be a very good fragrance within its price range. It is an excellent choice for fans of fruity scents.
Personally, I enjoyed the fragrance and didn’t find any flaws, rating it 8/10.
