Having been a fan of the original Eternity by Calvin Klein for many years, I always wanted to try the For Men series, tested countless versions of it, but was always very bitterly disappointed - in the truest sense of the word, as all previous versions of Eternity for men have an extremely bitter note and for me - sorry to all fans! - all smelled extremely similar, regardless of whether it was the latest summer version or another new version.

A few weeks ago, however, I was really excited about the announcement of the two new summer Eternitys!

When the pictures of the bottles appeared, I was a little disappointed at first, as I don't find the silver caps in combination with the turquoise bottle particularly attractive. Nevertheless, I can understand the wellness idea behind it, as Douglas also designed the Seathalasso series (which is still the number one swimming pool fragrance for me) in a very similar way.

A few days ago, I finally received the samples of the two new fragrances. And even before I started testing them, I was particularly looking forward to the women's version! What a mistake!

Because while the women's version certainly has its raison d'être as it is a very subtle aromatic fragrance (which I still wouldn't buy due to the really very tepid and shallow formulation), this time, for the very first time, I was much more impressed by the men's version:

The fragrance starts with a wonderfully fresh, slightly sweet opening (which reminds me a little of Avon's Aromadisiac), which unfortunately only lasts a few minutes, which is a clear minus point of this fragrance. The lavender can only be recognized very far in the background. On the other hand, I don't recognize anything at all of coconut and cardamom, as stated in the description.

The heart note, which appears after just a few minutes as I said, lasts until the end, a mix of vertiver (although not mentioned at all), driftwood, swimming pool water, a very small hint of tarragon and the typical Eternity for men DNA.

Overall, the fragrance is still an absolute buy for me because of the extremely beautiful top note, because although you don't have it for long after spraying it on, it is always worth experiencing it because of the total feeling of well-being, not only in midsummer but also right now in the even colder spring-like temperatures to brighten the mood! :)

I bought it a while ago as a blind buy and was a little confused at first, as I was expecting something completely different. But Reyane Tradition has brought out so many good fragrances, which are also very affordable and definitely worth their price, that I didn't think twice and just let myself be surprised.

I am writing this review here after realizing that apart from me, only one other Parfumo owns this beautiful fragrance and I simply wanted to draw your attention to this insider tip.

The fragrance starts creamy fresh and then changes to a rather floral note that I unfortunately cannot define more precisely. Possibly magnolia or even magnolia trees and a faint memory of a fragrance I once owned a long time ago, but unfortunately I can't remember exactly which one it was.

Very feminine, very subtle, creamy fresh, slightly powdery and can be used very well both as a feel-good fragrance at home and for business appointments! The approximately 25 € for 50 ml are definitely worth the investment!

I was very excited about the new version of La Bie Est Belle and even thought about buying it blind.

First of all, the magical message for all powder fans: you will definitely get your money's worth here! Because the powder note is not only over-present from start to finish, but in combination with the incense it is not as pungent as in some other powder fragrances, but also not as fresh and more wearable in the evening.

Lancome has provided a huge bucket of La Vie Est Belle DNA here to ensure that all fans of the original can definitely smell who the mother fragrance of this descendant is.

And it seems that the vat of the latest offshoot, Iris Absolut, was not far from the fragrance creators, because you can smell the iris note very clearly, especially at the beginning, even though it is not indicated at all in the pyramid.

However, if you then give this fragrance a chance to fully develop the heart note, you will be surprised by a wonderfully round Christmas fragrance that can accompany us all not only on Christmas Eve but also deep into the New Year and is sure to be a complete success!

Everyone is tearing apart this beautiful new powder fragrance, which could well be described as a blend of Narciso, Narciso Poudre, Narciso Cristal & Fleur Musc. Many are bothered by the apparent jumble here, calling it the "mud" of all previous Narciso fragrances. This is what happens when you approach it with the expectation of a linear, uniform fragrance and only test it briefly. I too approached the sample that way and was disappointed. Now I love him and look forward to when he can move in with me.

He is an absolute all-rounder, although I will take him like all others of Narciso only for business appointments, as he creates a very clean, pleasant, quiet, peaceful atmosphere. Recently, I had e.g. of Narciso Poudre something too much on it and wanted me already apologize for it as my colleague disarmed me and said that she finds him very good.

The flacon looks unimaginative at first bluck. But once you look closer, it lies much better in the hand (-Taache) than its angular predecessors. The matte and noble gold design and the discreet lettering also convince with understatement.

Overall, it can be said that he is a successful fragrance v. a. with fans often but something more than the 0.6 ml sample needs to convert something. However, if you get involved with him you have a wonderful companion - a daytime fragrance that is wearable in all seasons and acts as subtle and peaceful as hardly any other next to all the flashy new releases this year.

I don't think I need to describe Very Good Girl by Carolina Herrera to any of you anymore, it is a wonderfully soft, floral, vanilla, gourmand designer fragrance with an absolute feel-good character. One of the reasons why I like the entire Good Girl series so much is that they have finally achieved what I would like to see in so many other flankers: The very recognizable original DNA of the first fragrance in the line always combined with a very interesting additional fragrance note and bottled in appealing bottles.

But here in my review I want to focus on the almost unbearably stereotypical provocative advertising campaign. Because the marketing team (I highly doubt whether Carolina Herrera herself thinks it's that good) was apparently not satisfied with playing with the long-outdated cliché of the over-decent young woman and the rebellious young man with titles such as Good Girl, Very Good Girl or even the entire Bad Boy series, no, now the slogan "It's so good to be bad" is also printed on the latest packaging.

It makes you wonder who exactly this is supposed to reach? Rebellious buyers who might be put off by the Very Good Girl title? Collectors who will buy the new editions twice just because of the additional set embossed in gold? Or perhaps some who would secretly wish for a "Bad Girl" series? Madonna sends her regards because she lives up to her old song title in her latest Tiktoks if you take a look at her obscene clips there.

In conclusion, we can only hope that, apart from the almost uncountable collector's bottles, Carolina Herrera's niche fragrance range will one day be available at designer prices, because it manages completely without any provocation, but with very original fragrance compositions.
