Very Good Girl Carolina Herrera 2021 Eau de Parfum

The best of the Good Girl line, buy totally different than the older ones. Very Good Girl is a sweet litchi rose scent. If that is what you like this is a safe blind buy.

Lovely scent for warmer months. Vanilla make it smooth and creamy when in the same time it's juicy and fruity. I hate fresh rose scents but rose in Very Good Girl is jammy sweet rose.

Performs pretty nicely and linger on clothes forever. Compliment getter.

The top notes is this perfume are incredible, but over an hour they develop into Johnson and Johnson Baby Powder on my skin, and that’s not the scent I’m trying to achieve.
It has fantastic sillage and longevity. The bottle is super sexy, too. I think the vetiver and vanilla makes into a baby powder scent. I’m curious to see if this happens to other people.

At first spray, Very Good Girl is cheery and bright, with the juicy cherry and lychee drawing you in. Once she has you, though, this good girl reveals her dark side in a flash of tuberose, vetiver, and spicy metallic cinnamon. You’re already hungry for more, she has you in her trap and she knows it. It’s a rollercoaster of a night in the heart and drydown, but the soft vanilla and berry stays the whole time, guiding you through. This girl knows how to play innocent to get what she wants, and what she wants right now is you.

When I sprayed this, I was pleasantly surprised because I don’t like designer perfumes, and I immediately knew that this was not bad to my nose. I used to own the original version of this fragrance, but it got too heavy and cooling for me as I got further into my perfume journey. I first got it in college and I thought it was so sexy and mature of me but really for me. It was more of a club scent. Now, the notes in this fragrance are right up my alley. It’s just a yummy girly scent. I love lychee I love vanilla however when you first spread it it’s a bit too standard and on the dry down it doesn’t stick around very well, so I don’t think I would pay for this. I also think some fragrances in my collection already mirror this scent profile however I don’t have this exact one and I would prefer to find it elsewhere.

I wear this perfume at work (as a teacher) in the summer months (May/June). My female students always ask what I am wearing. It isn't very work friendly, but it is one that my student's never complain about. It does sometimes give me a headache, especially if I spray it on my neck. It's a nice daytime scent. It is probably my least favourite of my fine parfums, but probably will not be rebuying it when I run out, but it's nice.
