Rain in the morning...if it would rain flowers and shoe polish ;)
Recently I got a sample of this fragrance in my nose from the Mixed Wanderbrief (thanks to Jennytammy).

A little sprayer on the arm early in the morning. A little "black rain" can be so refreshing - if you understand a refreshment to be the touch of a good perfume. (Well, that might actually apply to many here - including me.)

A very successful flowery prelude follows immediately. The rose can only perceive my nose discreetly, but it is certainly also present in the small "flower bed" that is offered here. Chamomile, jasmine, rose and co. compete to see who is the most beautiful (and dominating).

After 5 minutes the leather follows, dark, almost black - with a slight touch of shoe polish. This comparison may sound unpleasant at first, but it describes my association with a high-quality shoe polish. The scent of it can be very successful and good.

In the heart note, our small flower bed continues to float discreetly above this note over a period of about one to two hours. As it progresses, the fragrance becomes sweeter and the leather shrinks. The base is full of musk with a hint of orange blossom - in short: inconspicuous, velvety soft and beautiful.

All in all, "Black Rain" is a very balanced and harmonious fragrance with a varied course of fragrance (at least in the first one to two hours). If only it weren't for the leather that almost always bothers me about scents. This fragrance is warmly recommended to all those who have no problem with leather and also like floral perfumes with a soft and sweet base. :)

PS: The fragrance reminds me of "Fetish" by Neil Morris Fragrances in the heart note, distantly, through this leather-flower-sweet combination, but in a clearly dimmed version with less leather and more dominant flowers. Or am I already suffering from a delusion of perfume? Many common notes are not to be found in the pyramid...
