Is comparison the end of happiness . . .
. . . or is it just my nose that is disturbed?
Akkad starts fresh, but less hesperidic than very artificially cinnamony.
Inevitably, a completely different scent comes to mind. I take my time and Akkad unfolds dark, balsamic and pleasantly resinous. Gentle incense wafts around.

Fortunately for me, the patchouli remains inconspicuous and neither a disturbing sweetness nor an exuberant masculinity develops. Although I am probably on the more masculine side with my fragrance preferences anyway.

I can't resist and apply the scent I have memorized to the back of my hand.
Let more time pass, and yes, "Akkad | Lubin" and "Crimson Rocks | Amouage" give me a very similar scent impression, both at the beginning and at the end. (Dark cinnamon - perhaps the clary sage in play - vs. light cinnamon) Whereby the Akkad is much rounder, darker and more finely tuned.

If I didn't already have "Crimson Rocks | Amouage", which will certainly take some time to use up, "Akkad | Lubin" would certainly be an option for me!

Many thanks to MartialScents for the testing opportunity.

No less than sea
Sparkling, a fresh breeze. Green waves with white spray. A light salty hint. Fortunately for me, no blue aquatics, but a subtly iodine-tingling, green-maritime fragrance.

The longevity on my skin is enormous, on clothes almost infinite.

You can't fill halls with these clouds (= ghyoom), and you don't have to. It's enough for me if they float around me in a slightly tingling way.

I'm already looking forward to summer!

Oud is good for you!
Who has anything against oud?
Only slightly fecal at the beginning,
then the fragrance gets really good!

There is wood, a little pepper
and it gets even better.

I am still testing,
maybe give more later
to the best. :-)

Unfortunately, since I couldn't submit a statement, I had to post it as a review. Please forgive me!

This strawberry deserves a review
One thing in advance: I'm not a sweetie.
But in one of my last perfume orders ran me Ser Al Khulood Gold over the way and I thought, nice composition and as a fruit note once not the seemingly ubiquitous raspberry.
So ordered for small money. After the delivery with several quite different fragrances had arrived with me I unpacked them, but did not yet come to test.
Then one day after work it was time. I grabbed the somewhat kitschy to silly designed outer box (wood grain, golden Arabic script and a golden stylized leaf, which is after opening the first hinged lid then solo on a second hinged lid).
The flacon is in my eyes rather pretty than ugly, definitely functional.
Not suspecting what I had to expect - since at that moment I did not even know what I had there and why I had ordered it - I gave a spray on each wrist.
What is this? Sweet syrup, medium-bodied, yet not viscous or sticky, was my first association. With a strange seeming, most likely oriental aura. Then I had to think of honey, but not in the sense of honey sweetness or actual honey taste. Rather in the sense of a distant memory of honey.
But then it came: a dark, fully ripe strawberry.
Sprinkled with sugar to let it draw juice. Perhaps also a strawberry pickled in sugar.
This ripe strawberry scent lasts a very long time on the skin, underpinned by the other notes, which however remain discreetly on the sidelines.
