MEN, try these ones! They perform more masculine on you guys. My husband loves to wear it, it’s gorgeous!

Beautifully blended white flowers, so delicate, charming and subtle, almost paltry. But as soon as you are thinking that it’s not so special it starts to shine and all the notes from masterful base wraps around the flowers. In that moment you realize that it’s Amouage. It’s warm and a little bit spicy with leathery undertones and a signature Frankincense. Honour maintains airiness even in the dry down while Honour 43 has more voluptuous character. I love the way how the florals are made, they are captivating and sensual, almost green, Gardenia keep it fresh and Tuberose is not that typical dominant note over others. Rhubarb in the opening is a little bit sweet and sour, in Honour it’s very restrained whilst In Honour 43 it’s more realistically juicy and it lingers longer with the flowers.

About the performance:
Inside 43 is stronger but it’s closer to the skin. OG projects more.
Outside 43 creates a huge scent bubble while OG is very gentle and mild.

Fresh elegant white florals

Honour 43 opens with a surprising fresh green pepperiness. Then there's a beautiful blend of white florals with just a hint of sweetness. Finally, sandalwood and resins emerge with a subtle note of something animalic and powdery. Honour 43 is sophisticated without being over the top. She's memorable but restrained enough to wear during the day. And although this fragrance incorporates several elements that I'm not super fond of (white florals for one), it's so expertly blended that it's greater than the sum of its parts for me.

I don´t like Tuberose

Okey, it´s very subjective and this regards only my preference but even if tuberose is such an expensive and luxurious flower, it just does not click with me.

The same is with Carnal Flower from FM, even if it´s done to perfection by Master Ropion, I can´t smell it.

Honor 43 is of course not just that, it has a complexity of notes which allows it to be more than just "another tuberose" scent. But still, it is hard to grasp if you are .. under 30, I would say.

It´s like spraying Diaghilev from ROJA on an 18 years old man, it simply does not add up.

The performance is great and the presentation too, but for what you get, the retail price is a massive cash grab.

Creeds Tubereuse Indiana with the Amouage DNA

This reminds me a lot of Creed's Tubereuse Indiana..but with that classic Amouage DNA that brings a darker, deeper resinous aspect.

This is fantastic, and while I think that often times Tubereuse scents can lean very much 'old lady' this one does not, it's modern thanks to the Amouage DNA. Compared to the regular Honour woman, you'll have a very hard time telling the difference between the two, if you have them side by side you can notice subtle nuances but smell this in the air in a silage trail and you'll not be able to tell.

I think much like Reflection Man and Reflection 45...the best way to wear Honour 43 is by layering it with Honour Woman. Outside of Interlude 53, the projection on some of these extrait versions from Amouage have VERY poor projection. Take the best of both worlds by layering. This is one of the most beautiful white florals you can buy.

A flower dream

Honour 43 by Amouage is a perfume that gives you the feeling of walking through a blooming paradise. The fresh floral notes around jasmine and co. give the fragrance an incredible vibrancy and freshness that makes you feel like you are sniffing fresh flowers. The complexity of the fragrance unfolds slowly, with the floral notes blending with subtle nuances of warmth and sensuality to create a sense of well-being.

Honour 43 has an exciting top note that smells of fresh rhubarb leaf, spicy coriander and pepper. This is followed by the heart note with a blend of gardenia, jasmine, tuberose, garden carnation and lily of the valley. However, jasmine and tuberose are particularly pronounced. The blend of floral notes gives the fragrance a sweet and warm note. The base note consists of opoponax, sandalwood, labdanum, leather, vetiver and incense, which lend the fragrance a warm, woody and spicy depth, although the flowers continue to dominate. I cannot detect incense and labdanum as the fragrance progresses.

In terms of longevity, Honour 43 surpasses the normal version and all expectations. Even after 10 to 12 hours, the fragrance does not lose its intensity on the skin, and the sillage fades after 4 to 5 hours. A complex fragrance that remains fascinating from start to finish. The blend of fresh, floral and woody notes makes for a pleasant fragrance experience that lasts a long time. One of my favorites!
