Quality summer freshie at a bargain price
Really nice & fresh masculine fragrance perfect for hot weather. Pineapple popped in the opening but didn't last long. As it dried down, got the lavender and especially the sandalwood which makes for a very pleasant scent. Longevity is quite good - it was still going strong after 8 hours and sillage is moderate - arm's length for a couple of hours. Available at a bargain price. A very easy fragrance to like.

From what I've read, this is supposed to be a better performing version of D&G Light Blue Intense. I didn't get that resemblance and compared it directly with a sample spray of Light Blue Intense on my wrist. Light Blue strikes me as a true salty aquatic while Ghyoom only has a subtle hint of that. More of a fresh breeze cooled over a large fresh water lake. I've never experienced Megamare, so can't comment on the resemblance.

As I understand, "Ghyoom" means cloud in Arabic. The bottle gives that impression of clouds moving across the water.

Nothing Less Than the Sea
Sparkling, a fresh breeze. Green waves with white foam. A light salty touch. To my delight, no blue aquatic scent, but a subtly iodine-sparkling, green-marine fragrance.

The longevity on my skin is enormous, on clothing nearly infinite.

These clouds (= Ghyoom) do not need to fill halls, nor do they have to. It is enough for me if they lightly sparkle around me.

I am already looking forward to summer!

If you order Aquaman at Wish...
The fact that successfully creating an aquatic fragrance is obviously quite challenging is demonstrated by the multitude of azure-blue, aquatic sea farts that cloud the offerings of countless perfume houses.

It seems that only Maurice Roucel, the musk god, can come to the rescue.

The similarity to Megamare always evokes in me the obligatory feeling that most perfume lovers know.
It resembles it, but of course, it doesn't come close enough to it.

It doesn't have to, as it is not a sillage powerhouse like the original.
Nevertheless, its scent is really good and in no way feels cheap.

Scent definitely 10
Sillage? 7.5/10
Longevity around 8 hours.
Bottle? Really elegant, high-quality, heavy - top-notch.

Plot twist: Regardless of the logical subjectivity of scent perceptions, the fragrance seems to be extremely well-received by women.

Recommended?
Yes - definitely;

Saffron Tests Its Acting Skills
Overall, opinions on this very affordable fragrance are still limited, yet there may be signs that the Zimaya could be closely related to Megamare.

I can't fully understand this comparison, as for me, there are very few parallels to draw here.
Megamare and its offshoots particularly dominate through this deep-sea note, packed with salt and an almost unrestrained sillage and longevity.

Here, however, saffron plays a trick on most people.
In fact, in this overall composition, it smells somewhat salty at first. For me personally, this remains a deception, as upon closer inspection, the saffron becomes quite evident, even if it may want to suggest otherwise.

The fruity notes are hardly noticeable to me, making this fragrance significantly more difficult to describe than one might assume.
Roughly speaking, I would say that Ghyoom settles somewhere between a green-blue scent, where saffron tests its acting skills.

Given the price, the fragrance can certainly be described as "exciting," and I am already looking forward to further opinions, especially from the very experienced noses here.

Very few should be greatly disturbed by this scent, as musk and a hint of sandalwood really smooth out the base.

I find it particularly interesting that the fragrance is not really tangible, without seeming super complex or overly high-quality.
A sweet cloud envelops the overall structure, all still within a tolerable range and not appearing cheap.
However, especially this aspect is not even remotely present in Megamare, so it completely drifts away here and can no longer be compared to Orto Parisi.

I maintain that saffron is trying to lead someone onto thin ice here.

The longevity and sillage are moderate, but nothing more.
The bottle is heavy, feels quite high-quality to the touch, although the cap does not quite suit my taste.

Cool Water, without Cool
It smells like a neutered Cool Water Eau de Toilette. The beautiful, refreshing mint paired with the slightly floral notes from the geranium and jasmine of Cool Water is completely missing in Ghyoom. Instead, it is simply aquatic and salty.
But wait, there are supposed to be pineapple, blood orange, and juniper in the top notes, right? I can't detect anything fruity at the outset, no matter how hard I try. I sprayed it multiple times, waited, and nothing changes.

The biting saffron makes it distinctly masculine. The moss and soapy vetiver further support this. It is said to be very similar to the completely trendy Megamare? Well, then I already know that I definitely won't be getting that one.

But unlike Cool Water, it doesn't need to be reapplied because it lasts all day. The bottle is well-crafted and elegant, and the cap resembles a crown, giving it a somewhat majestic feel.

Anyone looking for something linear, unfruity, aquatic, and distinctly masculine will be happy here. I don't like it, and for me, it is and remains a Cool Water without Cool. ;-)

Opens up nicely fresh, dries down to slightly disgusting in my opinion. No longevity on me, less than 30min, skin scent. Very low projection

Bought it because i've read that it has the DNA of Megamare. Not even close to it, that smells like a laundry detergent. Not wearable for me.

It opens up almost like ADG Profumo, then dries into a salty aquatic fragrance (just like Megamare). This is very nice for summer.

Wonderfully aquatic, fresh, and lightly sweet. More blue than green, but wonderfully blended. This could also be by Roja!

Has nothing to do with Megamare. Great fresh scent. Unique. For the direction with a solid H/S at a very good price.

Pretty good freshie, but not comparable to the "Megamare | Orto Parisi," rather very unique. Good H/S and of course P/L absolutely top!
