BOLD FLORALS FOR MEN TO TRY

After watching a video on Instagram of Snoop Dogg the famous rapper spraying PDM Delina Exclusif and remarking with his deep baritone voice "hmmm..! Is that a perfume made in Paris? That's why it smells so good! It's a great unisex Parisian perfume" I got the inspiration for this article. Maybe in the West Delina Exclusif is for women but in the wild wild West men are bold enough to pick a very floral fragrance for themselves!

Choice 1: al haramain portfolio floral sculpture is a floral amber for men, I cannot imagine it on the skin of a woman, I'll tell you why. It starts with bergamot and carnations so the opening is very citrusy pepery from lovely pink carnations and sultry bergamot. In the middle you get a lush jammy roses note with gorgeous patchouli but things get complex in the drydown with amber, benzoin so far so splendid but ambergris comes in with a sour slightly animalic musc and makes this floral amber kinda sweaty. It took me so much by surprise till I got used to this drydown I convinced myself it is a simulation of cumin sweaty drydown and interesting for sure. This is why I'm saying it is a perfume for men. Go for it! For 60€

If you are keen on clean floral scents and you miss the discontinued TF Lavender Extreme there is Choice 2 for you Molinard Les elements collection Lavande for much less than 50€ with the same niche quality. Huh? ...one could ask. Molinard parfums are located in Grass, France. Part of their laboratories is part of an old monastery where monks at the middle ages experimented making perfumes using distilled essential oils. So this Lavande edp from their line Les elements collection carries almost identical notes as the TF discontinued Lavender extreme. It opens with French lavender and white clean musk. In the middle it develops with aethereal jasmin and the base is made of vanilla, labdanum,coumarin,patchouli,tonka and benzoin.

Choice 3: From the glorious eighties Montana parfum de peau edt is back in circulation and has not changed much in the notes breakdown. Good longevity and trail and sillage. This was such strong powerhouse when it initially was launched. The new reformulation is good ,very close to the initial fragrance. Boys do not be afraid it ain't a sweet floral this one ,well rounded. A fragrance that starts with tagetes ,blackcurrant seeds,ginger and black raspberry and orange blossom cannot be a sweet floral.it is rather a sharp sultry fresh floral amber with a slightly animalic musk. In the middle you get rose,patchouli, narcissus, jasmin. In the base comes leather with incense and amber with musc of animalic nuances. Come on baby boy!. Don't look for Portraits of a lady baby boy when there's this for less than 50€. Go.grab it!
