Exit in F 40
I like to have fun and buy perfumes that are nowhere else on the list. Often available at a low price, and then comes the exciting moment to try these "exotics." Here too, I stumbled upon "Red Power Ice" by chance.
According to the description, it is a citrusy aquatic scent in a rather nice bottle.
The glass radiates a slight Ice Touch - sporty.

But actually, it resembles the slightly fogged windows of the F 40. Excited, you sit behind the wheel, beads of sweat already running down your forehead; the white T-shirt is well dampened. No ice here - this cooling would be nice. The last kilometers of the drive along the coastal road become more pleasant. The wind brings freshness,…..quickly back before the rain sets in.

Well, the scent is just as special. The opening is hard to describe, somehow musty - but only for a very short time. Then comes the pleasant freshness, green and herbaceous, very lightly. It remains appealing up close. Definitely not an elegant Italian. More like someone in a work overall, working in a heated car garage after a big inspection followed by a test drive.

The "scent test drive" was still fun.

The Summer Fragrance Search is Over…
…at least mine is now finished for 2022.
I will be able to perfectly accompany the remaining sunny weeks with my TOP 3 citrus fragrances.
Alongside Edition Blanche and the wonderful Bergamotto di Calabria from Acqua di Parma, L‘Humaniste by Frapin has now arrived with me.

Just the presentation is something special and creates a certain excitement.
A very elegant and high-quality outer packaging in warm red. Inside is a black "box".
You open this, and the elegant bottle with a dark brown wooden cap awaits its use. Now that’s an opening!

The good sprayer distributes the blend of citrus - spices - gin - herbs perfectly.
What a beautiful, harmonious composition.

The start with the citrus notes, wonderfully refreshing - herbs included, but perfectly done.
Gin remains accompanied by moss and a little sweetness. Incredibly elegant, high-quality.
Yes, durability is always a topic. But I am satisfied with 6 - 7 hours.

One likes to compare it with Edition Blanche, but I find that both have their own character. And if someone doesn’t like the EB, they might not test L‘Humaniste. That would be a mistake.

The EB is classy, can handle high summer temperatures, but might be a bit too sweet.
The ADP Bergamotto di Calabria is an Italian as it should be.

L‘Humaniste is the gentleman, is more elegant, finer - simply an excellent summer fragrance.

I look forward to the upcoming summer sunny days that can last a long time so I can wear these great perfumes.

Happy Summer Time

A Sunny Summer Day by the Sea...
Immediately, we have individual and fitting images in our heads and dream ourselves away to our favorite spots. A small cove; pines providing shade, clear water... we enjoy the warming rays of the sun, occasionally a wonderful slightly cooling breeze reaches us... One would like to hold onto this moment not just for the vacation days.

This feeling could be perfectly captured with aquatic and summery scents. And so, every year new creations are launched. The selection is vast. Few are good, often rather disappointing.

I myself am a big fan of aquatic fragrances and am already looking forward to the new summer season.
By chance, I discovered Tous Man Sport and dared a blind buy.
Good decision - especially since the price is right.

The Sport Man starts off beautifully citrusy fresh, becoming cooler with the ginger, complemented by Granny Smith apple. That works well...
It gradually becomes a bit more masculine with wood and musk, but not dominant or bothersome.

I find the longevity to be very good at 4 - 5 hours. Close to the skin, the Tous even lasts longer.

So, for those who want to extend the vacation moment, this is the right choice.
I have not been disappointed and gladly give a thumbs up.
