Solid freshie with sweet notes
After the Dunhill Icon, I also had to try the Dunhill Icon Racing and was able to order a sample from the Souk.
After the first spray, I immediately get clear shower gel vibes, with a background of peppery spice, a hint of lavender and cinnamon and a touch of wood. There's an associated peppermint gum over the whole thing.
Definitely sweeter than the Dunhill Icon and unfortunately I also find it a little more random. A fragrance that gets lost among other fragrances in the pedestrian zone and which I perceive as young. Sillage and longevity are rather medium.
Unfortunately not for me, so I'm glad I didn't buy it blind. If you like shower-gel, sweet-spicy fragrances, then you get a lot for relatively little money here.
When it comes to freshies, however, I will probably stick to Chanel's Allure Homme Sport.
