You are a real tamer...
a man once said to me who seemed to be bothered by the fact that I reprimanded Uwe and Bernd for walking along the street in a civilized manner. He didn't say it in a friendly or respectful way, like another gentleman who smiled as he watched the two dogs peacefully sharing a portion of vanilla ice cream with cream at the ice cream parlor, but condescendingly and reproachfully.

In fact, this encounter made me buy the fragrance blind. Of course, I also like frangipani, ylang-ylang and almond. So I thought I would like the fragrance.

But it actually suits this encounter perfectly. Not that it's bad, but in all its beauty it has something oppressive about it. I smell a beautiful woman. I think she's a Maori, an original Polynesian beauty. Beautiful, irrepressible, original, indomitable. She has groomed herself with tiare oil and a flower in her full, black hair. She should be spending the day in the sun, in the sand by the sea, doing her daily work. But something is wrong. Something is dark and oppressive. I can almost see the iron cage in the dark cellar in which she is trapped and it is almost unbearable for me to witness this spectacle. The memory of this gentleman comes unpleasantly to my mind. Unfortunately, I have often had to experience strange men talking in this tone to women and girls. The scent makes me think.

This is a very clean shower gel fragrance. It also reminds me a bit of the Monoi range from Yves Rocher which I used a lot in the 90s. The smell of powder is also there but not dry or dusty. I smell ylang and frangipani, sometimes very far away like in a flower store with water and greenery. If there are almonds, then fresh, juicy, green ones and not sweet, roasted ones.

Unisex? - Yes! It is a clear clean fragrance that can also be worn by men. But it smells more like a women's shower than a men's changing room in an outdoor pool in the 90s. I find it unsweet and not really gourmand. I find the durability and sillage to be mediocre, not close to the skin and not room-filling, after 6 hours the spook is as good as over.

The Princess of Arabia ...
is young, beautiful and even though she insists she is from the Middle East, she is far too Western in what she does. She wears bold black eyeliner that emphasizes her large, round eyes. Her eyelashes are a little too long and thick to be natural. Although she wears a lot of make-up, she doesn't look overly made up or even shrill. She likes to showcase the purity and beauty of her character and the wealth she has on YT, Insta and various other portals.

And whoever has, has! That's why she's not sitting in a bathtub, but in a Roman bath which she has filled with milk and all the bath bombs from the Lush store. She snacks on the finest brioche topped with whipped butter and delicious strawberry jam. After 30 minutes, it's out of the pool and into the cozy king-size bed lined with delicate tea rose blossoms. We have a hot, well-spiced fruit tea. It had already tasted good at the Christmas market and is now really cozy in bed. To take care of her skin, she applies a cream scented with her bath water every now and then.

Is the opulent luxury real?!?! No, the video lasts a few hours, is well made but the princess is just a girl. But you're still totally spellbound and want to watch it again and again. After all, it's really not expensive to follow the channel. But you shouldn't overdo it. A little distance makes her seem pleasant, but if you let her get too close she becomes unbearable.

This is her! But worse!
This fragrance is closed to me. I wanted to like it so much. But it doesn't seem to like me. It gives me a bad headache. But not because it makes me brood. It's this note from the blue shower gel that is always associated with "freshness".

It reminds me of "this is here!" By Zadig and Voltaire, which is also very sweet, bitter and above all resinous on my skin. Once I was chatting with a neighbor who suddenly said that a fir tree here must be very resinous out of season and that she liked the scent of resin so much. However, my perfume was not a tree. This blatant resin note paired with bittersweet burnt cotton candy and a rose like in Rance Elise and blue shower gel is such an unpleasant mess that my head almost burst. What's more, at the beginning I really feel like I'm sniffing glue.

I can only sense the beauty of the fragrance in the background. It's like a funfair in the 80s/90s when I was little. In addition to the rides and the cheerful screams of those on the rides, I can feel and smell the warm earth and dry grass of the fairground, the warm wood of the rustic stalls. The cotton candy stand is almost within reach. Even the fruit on the next stall seems to be waiting in a fountain of cool water for someone who wants to buy it. There must also be a stall with roasted potatoes... the ones with vanillin sugar. Behind the stalls is a rose bush that begins to smell delicately in the warm evening sun. - I can recognize it for a moment and want to get closer, but then there is this wall of resin, wood and "fresh" shower gel behind which I sit and which bangs against my brain again and again. I still have to keep smelling my arm. I like to go back to this beautiful memory so much.

It's just a shame.

The bottle is also beautiful. Made of glass, heavy and golden with a lid made of real wood. The plaque is made of cool metal with an embossed, colorful pattern. It comes in a sturdy, same-colored cardboard box with a drawer and a foam lining with red velvet flocking. So classy and high-quality. Bundle but not kitschy or even too much. Simply amazing!

It gives me a really bad headache for at least 3 hours until I can only feel it on my skin. But that's after 12 hours plus.

Nevertheless, I seem to keep trying with it in the hope that one day I'll be back at the fairground of my childhood. Without the fat wall banging against my head.
