From good to very good to favorite
Hey, you fragrance freaks,

we all have little time, so this time I'll make it short and concise!

I don't remember exactly how it happened, but the scent came to me like the child to the virgin.
From the first breath I liked this dry, fruity, leathery aura. But he was always too hard and rugged for me, especially for 250,-!

But as I was gradually progressing on my perfume journey, I first noticed the quality of this fragrance:

1. The bottle is of insanely high quality and stylishly worked.
2. The fragrance lasts "only" about 8 hours on the skin, but they have it in the matter of Sillage in themselves!
3. Finally I discover a fragrance where I can really sniff out all the notes (except "forest")! Dry leather, tasty cocoa, fruity fig and other dried fruits!
4. The fragrance is equally good from the head to the base and I think that's great. It smells after 8 hours exactly like at the beginning, it does not develop into an ambroxan, vanilla, shower gel or wood chaos.
5. It's wearable all year round. It doesn't matter if it's warm (the fruits come out) or cold (the leather and the cocoa come out).

In short: really a masterpiece for me. When my last bottle is used up, the bottle will come to me!
Too bad that the scent gets almost no attention...or even good so?

Thanks for reading!

Love you guys < br />

Leathery-orange in oud fur
Hello, you crazy people,

after a long time again a comment from me, okay let's have a look, lean back...

Munich. January 2019. Stachus. Oberpollinger. Sometime between 5:00 and 7:00. A confused and overstrained perfume addict is looking for new prey.
He's hurrying through the shelves. The glassy gaze beats from wristwatch to shelf and that to the beat of the saleswomen's clattering high heels.
His nose teases, he tries to console himself with coffee, often in vain. She screams, "Cut the crap! I want to go home!!".
His otherwise favorite organ (yes.) becomes his worst enemy. -Where's Archilles when you need him?-
Memo. Parfums de Marly. Roja. Vilhelm Parfumery. Creed. Penhaligons. Tom Ford. Initio. Kilian. Replica. One gets better than the other. And yet not.
"Oh ne now nevertheless too sweet and heavy", "oh ne for the money me too linear", "oh ne for the performance I do not pay 280 euros!", "Oh ne there I get myself a bottling!".
The scent strips pile up in his pockets, his trembling fingers cut into the fresh paper. Thoughts of "Edward with the scissors hands" appear: "away with it" he calls out loudly, "I have to wash my arms, I don't have a projection surface anymore!!!..." Mothers take their children by the hand in fear.
But what is there...a bright...inviting sales area...
"Dior? I can't stand a sauvage any more...but just...I know these flacons...PRIVÈ!!!!", the scream attracts a lively saleswoman, she hugs the boy, sweaty and wheezing man.
"Come, I'll show you one of our new fragrances..."
Liliane liquid. Two sprayers on the skin. The man smells... closes her eyes...sees oranges. Dry oranges. Packed in an old leather bag. Stored in the warm humid air of a cellar, in Normandy...
He's waking up. At home on his couch. His fingers are covered with Dior patches. He's in a diorama robe, freshly washed. Look at the clock, 11:32. Smells his skin no matter where, leather. Orange leather. Light tobacco. Linear, but creative and of high quality.

A distant voice makes him jump, "Excuse me, are you all right?" He's at the register. In one hand the perfume, in the other his purse. The pretty salesgirl confusedly asks him, "Where were you with your thoughts?" The man answers smiling, "in the scented sky"...

He happily leaves the store...

...but then he remembers... "but in addition to the leather scent I would need a real tobacco scent, after all it's winter...", he turns around and enters the shop...

Thanks for reading!

Have I been converted? Perhaps...
...yes, dear ones. My first comment on this platform was about Layton from PDM. A without doubt very nischiger smell...

All in all, I have to say that it was fragrances like frankincense, myrrh, tobacco, rum, leather and oud that drove me crazy about perfume. The clear, transparent presentation of individual fragrances and the bottle design convinced me.

Then I ordered an incredible number of samples and fillings of the great niche fragrances with the components mentioned.
I have felt every second weekend in the Oberpollinger stood and counted, where I like what can pay and buy to be able to put together a small but fine collection.

But what happened...
...I didn't get any compliments, even worse, many fragrances (Layton, Herod, Pegasus, Black Afgano, Absinthe, Terroni, Tobacco Oud Intense, Bleu Turquoise, Rahaba, Tuscan Leather, Aventus, Unum, Rudis) became either after a few hours simply too one-dimensional or after several days simply tired of me and "exhausting"...

I had to keep looking.

Gave me (unintentionally) into the section of the so-called designers...
"But well..." I figured, "...a good scent, is a good scent, no matter who created it...".

I quickly came across Bleu de Chanel.
The first splash (now I only test on my own skin): warm, citric, sour, tangerine, fresh, well-groomed.
It may be due to the season, or the small disappointment of the niche fragrances, but I was thrilled.
After 2 hours the Sillage loses much of its suction power and the mandarin is "coated" with a light-coloured wood. Meanwhile I like the "Saubermann/Barbrier" fragrances more and more and I wonder what I should wear in winter...

Despite everything, the well-kept, shower gel vibe remains, which many here criticize as boring.
But I see in him a kind of salvation.
No more eccentricity and played individuality, towards the simply "portable".

The bottle design pleases, note 2-, the magenitic lid is a great gimmick that flatters price.

In spite of all the laughter, I always have to carry a bottle with me to spray every three hours after. Because in one point the scent fails (where I still see niche scents in front)...the performance.

DER Budget-Saubermann
Blind purchase.
23 Euro for 40ml.
Arrived.
Foil away.
All right, it's Mercedes Benz.
Cardboard open, bottle out.
I like it. Modern. Sporty. Fresh.
Remove the lid, phew that looks really high quality and heavy.
The first three sprayers.
Spray head makes a good impression.
I smell grapefruit and vervain.
Verbena was one of my first active fragrances that I learned to love. Especially in soaps.

Even after two hours, a fresh vervain fragrance continues mixed with shower gel Vibe. Good!

About the further Sillage and durability I report still.

Cautious preliminary conclusion:

If you don't want to spend a lot of money right now.
Needs a light and fresh summer scent.
Has nothing against vervain.
Ready to take the fragrance with you to spray from time to time.
DER must buy this fragrance.
Now...
