A nice but short pleasure
First of all: The Adopt fragrances are all super affordable and you can't expect anything earth-shattering for the price. BUT:

If you are willing to spray more often, you can definitely try out one or two fragrances. Most perfumes are accompanied by entire care ranges, and you can also buy the matching body oil and shower gel. Then the fragrance will certainly last longer (I haven't tested it).

This is exactly how I came to Adopt.
Now to the fragrance: warm sand on vacation, lying by the salty sea in the evening, sipping a fruity cocktail. That's what it embodies for me.
Somehow constant and salty in the background. Here and there a tangy fruit peeps out and all this on a warm summer evening.

It is already on the sweeter side, but by no means squeaky, but well balanced.

I think it's one of the most interesting of the brand, as it's less childlike, more grown-up and a little more serious.

I'll soon have my little bottle empty. Will I buy it again? Probably not. Was it still beautiful? In any case

Delicious baking vanilla
The fragrance starts with pure baking vanilla. Just like when you smell a vanilla pod, only a little warmer and slightly baked. But without being too sweet, artificial or sticky.
A perfume that doesn't smell like perfume, but simply delicious.
Sometimes scents like this make me nauseous if they are too buttery or lemony, but this one has none of that.

I have tried many Adopt fragrances and this is one of the best and most harmonious. Some are artificial or evaporate quickly, but not this one.

For people who like vanilla, a must try. The bottles are already available with 10ml, so you can't go wrong

Artificial, yet enchanting
I understand the previous speakers, BUT I have to disagree on a few points.
Artificial at first, yes, but it also has something absolutely fresh and summery and delightful about it.
The balsamic notes are clearly in the foreground and overpower everything. But not in a negative sense. As a result, it is not tangy, but round and embracing. On very hot days it is probably too sweet, but otherwise it is a real all-rounder that is not offensive and does not offend. You can smell it all day long and never get tired of it.

Floral notes are more in the background but still clearly perceptible. I would recommend the fragrance to younger women, it is certainly too sweet for older ladies.

In contrast to the other Chloé fragrances, this one really stands out and doesn't fit in. I think the name could have been chosen differently here. I really like this one, but I can't do much with the other Chloés because they are too pungently soapy for me.
For all those who feel the same way, Lumineuse is perhaps worth a try despite the bad reviews. I think it's a fragrance that hasn't been worn to death and is also a little underrated!

If you're looking for a simple but special, clean always-wearer, you should give this one a try.

Unfortunately, it doesn't last long on my skin and I definitely have to spray it on 1-2 times during the day.

Expectations absolutely exceeded
To be honest, I don't understand the bad reviews at all. For me (as a vanilla lover) one of the most beautiful and unique vanilla fragrances.
Sure - you can't expect miracles at this price. But you still get an enchanting, cool, spicy, yet gourmand vanilla. This is a fragrance I would like to bathe in every day.

I find this composition absolutely unique, it also reminds me of #ani, but really only very far away.
You can't expect a big progression, but you know what you're getting.
So I'm going to buy it again as a backup, that's how much I love it.

I don't like the bottle at all, it really devalues the fragrance in my opinion. The color should not have been pink (=girly), but rather beige-ochre (=adult/feminine).

Rose with a bite... Ouch
Immediately after spraying it on, a great authentic rose emerges. Like a freshly picked rose from the garden - "I love it, I want more of it" is my immediate thought.

The term "Intense Café" is a little misleading for me. Unfortunately, I can't smell the café at all, not even a little bit. Many people write that the café slowly becomes more and more pronounced over time, but unfortunately not in my nose. I only smell rose and...

Now comes the big BUT:
Unfortunately, as with many other Montale fragrances, after 5 minutes the scent becomes so synthetic that it overpowers everything. This synthetic is metallic, acrid and gets into my head so much that I get a headache.

I find it unbearable, even unwearable. Yet this fragrance has so much potential and starts so well.

As I said, I feel the same way about many Montale fragrances, and I'm not the only one. I would be very interested to know what triggers this "bite". Zara has a dupe for it (Rose Gourmand), which is unfortunately 1 to 1 the same.

Too bad, I would love to have this great rose as a wearable perfume for myself. Unfortunately, it's not meant to be.
