What do you want to be?
In my opinion, this fragrance is a very sweet blend of fruit and flowers with a powdery undertone. For me, only the rose is clearly perceptible, the rest seems very synthetic. It wants to please, perhaps a little too much. Unfortunately very generic, not my cup of tea.

Can be done....
After a long search - more out of curiosity than because I'm an avid Chloè fan - I was finally able to test Chloé Lumineuse yesterday. Directly on the arm, paper is a waste of time for me, as it's completely different.
Now I'm actually not a Chloé fan, my only fragrance from this brand is Rose Tangerine, because the rose is not the overriding note (at least not for me) and I only like rose as Narciso Rodriguez interpreted it in Poudree. Or in Musc Noir Rose. So much said in advance.
As others have already said, Lumineuse is not a flanker of the Signature series for me either, it doesn't fit in there at all. It would have been better to create a completely new name.
I thought, with the scent notes it is advertised with, this would be a Chloé fragrance I would really really like - if only it would unfold like this! I don't smell the Chloé-typical rose, which is supposed to be reinterpreted here. Jasmine is also not recognizable to me now. I can't really identify the rest - except for the vanilla, which I find at the very end as a faint base that I only notice with my nose directly on my wrist. In fact, there is something that I find in my test set of Kenzo Memori, I just don't know in which fragrance. Most likely Poudre Matcha. Perhaps also in Coer Azuki, as Scandinavica has already described here, perhaps also Nuit Tatami. (Incidentally, I wasn't so taken with the Memori set that I would buy one of them in the original size) Lumineuse has a bit more sweetness, but I don't find it as exuberantly sweet as you can read in the statements. Sweet would not have been my first association. So, how does this fragrance smell on me? I don't know. Maybe it's called "balsamic". It's not heavy, but it's not fresh either.
I don't think it's bad, but do I have to have it? I don't know... considering the space in my perfume cupboard ;-). But it's OK as an everyday fragrance if you get rid of the idea that it's supposed to be a Chloé signature scent. It is rather independent.
What I also notice: While today's world of fragrances is largely synthetic, Chloé is still a big exception for me, because you can definitely smell the completely natural ingredients in the Signature range. I would no longer go along with Nomade. I don't warm to the Nomade range at all either, too sticky and artificial for me. I also find Lumineuse quite artificial.
My expectations were not met here in that it turned out quite differently than I thought.

Chloe, c'est toi ?
Where is Chloe and what have you done with her? Anyone expecting the typical Chloe DNA will be disappointed here. I've already tested Lumineuse several times over the past few days and I'm not warming up to it.

I personally don't smell any of the rose, which I usually find successful in Chloe. I perceive amber and a powdery-dry, synthetic vanilla, accompanied by jasmine and a fruity nuance that I had interpreted as orange before I read the notes.
The powder synthetic also remains throughout and reminds me of a note I've noticed more often in perfumes lately; in Un Jardin à Cythère dry grass is mentioned as a note, in "Memori - Coeur Azuki | Kenzo" rice/vanilla. In the dry down, all that really remains is powder and something slightly resinous.

I would like to like it, but unfortunately it gives me a headache, even though the notes actually fall right into my sweet tooth.
Maybe I can fall in love with it if someone else wears it...
