Affordable Bright Citrus..
This is a wonderful bright, budget friendly high heat fragrance. The note composition and blending in this fragrance is actually done quite very well especially considering the price. You have a very refreshing and slightly zingy opening due to the heavy citrus notes and in the background you’ll get a very slight tinge of the apple along with the musk, vetiver etc.. Go heavy on the trigger with this one as performance is lacking and respray as needed but considering it’s a citrus dominant fragrance and the low price I won’t complain too much. The bottle itself is also very sharp and nice looking and suits the fragrance perfectly. The atomizer is perfectly pressurized and sprays extremely smoothly.

“Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.”
Symphony in fact does have a very simple note make up but a large note make up is not always what makes a fragrance smell better. Yes, Symphony is very expensive but at the same time fragrance is also a luxury.. Some folks are just willing to spend more on ones they particularly enjoy. While it’s price wards most people off I personally can truly find the moneys worth in Symphony.. From the late Frank Gehry’s absolutely gorgeous bottle design to the multi generational master perfumer Jacques Cavallier-Belletrud working his absolute magic on the contents inside of this piece of art. Symphony bares inside some of the finest and most quality ingredients one could ask for in a fragrance. This is a stunning, pure citrus extrait and it proves itself as one in olfactory pleasure and staying power. From the opening of Symphony and to the later dry down you are met with a nose piercing euphoria. A citrus dominant fragrance truly cannot get much better than this. As far as the specific notes in Symphony it’s easy to capture.. Your senses are enthralled with a beautiful melody of grapefruit, bergamot, ginger and orange.. they all play off of each other magically. Pure quality and depth in each note creating a pure bliss smelling experience.

Silky smooth perfection..
Wow, This stuff really surprised me! Symphony had been the only one in the Extrait fragrance line I had tried. Recently with one of my last Louis Vuitton orders I decided to choose Stellar Times as a sample based on the very enticing note break down, needless to say I was extremely impressed with this fragrance. Like Symphony, Stellar Times is a quite simple note break down but done absolutely perfectly and with very expensive raw materials. Like I always say “Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication”. Your olfactory is immediately entranced with a wonderful quality rich and smooth orange blossom which is so delightful.. The orange blossom in Stellar Times is miles apart in quality and smell compared to all the orange blossom being used in so many other fragrances today. Engulfed in the orange blossom is the gorgeous, cozy white amber and wow! The two play upon one another so extremely well. The Peru Balm also shows itself in the background meddling the orange blossom and amber together into what I think is one of the best unisex and most inviting, uplifting fragrances I think I have ever smelt. This stuff is truly as cozy and euphoric as it gets for the senses. Why Symphony gets so much more love than Stellar Times I truly do not know…

One of the best..
Chanel Allure Homme Édition Blanche has always been rated very high everywhere you look and for good reason! This is about as silky smooth and approachable as it gets for a men’s fragrance. The creamy lemon and bergamot opening is very sophisticated and done extremely smoothly. The way each note plays upon each other in Édition Blanche is so captivating and soothing. The sandalwood and vanilla back bone plays off that rich citrus start phenomenally. In the back ground you can notice just a tinge of the vetiver but not strongly at all, it actually melds in with everything so perfectly. This is one of those fragrances I feel every man should have on the shelf. It can be worn just about anytime and anywhere.

Comforting Nostalgia..
This reminds me of a hot summer late morning with the sun shining bright, dew on the grass hanging out by the water with close family and friends. The warmth of the sun causing your freshly clean clothes to produce a smell in the air and also the smell of nature around you. There is such a nostalgic and comforting feeling in this fragrance. Jacques does it again by capturing such magic and emotion in a bottle. This is about as clean, cozy and comforting as it gets for a fragrance. The name suits it perfect as well as the bottle.
