Really, I read some reviews of others that were cracking down this fragrance. Either they are Chanel haters or don’t value the quality of this scent.
Chanel Superleggera shouldn’t be a limited version. It should be named Allure Homme Sport eau de Parfum, since Eau Extreme isn’t a Parfum. With 6 sprays I smell this the next day. It’s between the Allure Homme Sport and Eau Extreme in a very smooth solid way. I love it and happy that I purchased it.

Fragrance Review

First thoughts, this is an aromatic/citrus fragrance for men, similar to Allure Homme Sport.

- Superleggera starts off very citrus, similar DNA to Allure Homme Sport with a subtle hint of Lavender and Aldehyde notes. Creating a lighter/airy version of Allure Homme Sport. The mid and drydown consists of Musk, and warm spicy patchouli note.

- I sprayed a total of 5 times. Twice behind each ear, twice on the front of neck, and once in front of my chest. The longevity is good, it lasts approximately 7-9 hours on my skin, projects for about an arms length for 30 minutes to 45 minutes before turning into a skin scent. It does however lasts a few days on my clothes.
(Depends on skin types)

Overall Rating (8/10)

An ideal fragrance for the summer/warm weather, it's a safe blind buy if you enjoyed the original Allure Homme Sport DNA. Quite an interesting, lighter version with a nice touch of amber warmth in the drydown.

This 100ml/3.3 FL oz bottle was purchased for £130/$160.

First Impression of the New Allure Homme Sport Superleggera....

Hello everyone,

you can rely on the company..., perhaps we have a little upcoming star here.

Yesterday, on Sunday, I received a sample from "a fragrance buddy" and tested it today + yesterday (at work, while sleeping, and in my free time) and would like to give you (m)e my little impression.

It contains so much from the Chanel palette and yet so little...

What do I mean by that exactly?

You can clearly tell where it comes from, in the sense of Allure Homme Sport Eau de Toilette with its zesty, fresh, light notes and the Allure Homme Édition Blanche Eau de Parfum and a truly beautiful lemon (one of the most beautiful top notes I know), and on the side, you also notice the Bleu de Chanel Eau de Toilette, but not purely from the scent, rather from the massive PLEASANTNESS!

Chanel has never positively shocked us with pure performance, but rather it has always been the pleasantness and the certain quality at that price level, and it is the same here!

The scent resembles the bottle - transparent, soft, doesn’t clash, and so it is! A fresh and pleasant musk bomb! In the end, during the drydown, a light and subtle woody creaminess comes through, but it acts so subtly that you almost have to search for it.

Overall, it is sooo beautiful, pleasant, clean = you feel like you just took a shower!

How does it come across?

Typical for Chanel = incredibly good!

Where and when?

Almost everywhere, whether at work, while shopping, during sports and afterwards, or just like that ;) . I see it more in the months from March to October! In winter, it works very well too, and YES it harmonizes very well with Molecule 01, then it probably has enough power for winter.

Performance:

Completely okay and sufficient for a 7h or 8h workday, and it achieves that, but you can notice after 6h it gets a bit tight^^ in terms of skin scent. And the sillage is really good for about 30min, after that it noticeably fades quickly!

But that was the same with Allure Homme Eau de Toilette + Allure Homme Édition Blanche Eau de Parfum and it doesn’t bother me at all (at least not me).

Can I recommend it?

I would say you can hardly go wrong if you test it. Decide then whether you want to buy it or not.

And would I buy it for myself?

I wouldn’t be surprised if it finds its way to me ;) ,

Creamy Stuff

A new Chanel men's release? In 2024? Bring it on! “Superleggera” is a successful, albeit somewhat safe combination of “Allure Homme Sport” and “Edition Blanche” - and it is precisely the latter that delights me quite a bit…

“Superleggera” has everything a high-quality designer workhorse needs. It works wonderfully in leisure as well as fitness, from office to beer tent. Chanel's fresh-citrusy men’s DNA from recent years, which some have felt has been relegated to the pantydropper category for ages. But now it’s significantly creamier and… cake-like? Tart-like? And that without being a true gourmand? Yes, that works. Chanel has tested this extensively. It could be too sweet, soft, and waffle-like for the players and influencers of this world. It doesn't exactly pull every schlübbi down. But for me, it’s a great scent. And so it may go for some perfumes that take care of the scent and themselves - not just about external effects, prestige, followers, hype, and pillow talk. Musk pleasantly punches through. The grapefruit doesn’t remind too much of deodorants and shower gels. A slight saltiness can probably still be attributed to its own identity. Otherwise, safe and sound and smell.

Conclusion: not a game changer from Chanel… but a delicious, fluffy combination of some of their bestsellers from the last two decades. “Superleggera” has something, but it’s more of a Best Of. A bit of its own character is missing. At a high level.

Chanel Super... - nobody cares, right? What a vibe, man

Hello dear niche snobs (I mean it affectionately),

I tested the fragrance - now over several days - whether cold or warm - it was always 6-7 sprays from the sample and the 5ml is already empty.

About the scent itself -> top notes blender - and even those are nothing special to me - in the end, it's exactly the same as ALLURE HOME SPORT (without EAU EXTREME). I'm massively disappointed, projection maybe half an hour, then it's close to the skin like a "second" skin - you might as well apply a lotion (which I always have on, sheeeeeesh). Moreover, the scent feels "generic" in 2024 - I really can't believe something like this is being released - whether it says CHANEL or not - it's a poverty certificate.

I really wonder what the hype is about - it must be due to the limited edition and because it's been over half a decade since there's been a "flanker" - I only find the original and the COLOGNE from the Allure HOME line good - the eau extreme is also okay if you like it very creamy -> Nevertheless -> BLEU DE CHANEL is simply on another level (from EDP).

I won't be acquiring this fragrance and the best freshie right now is still IMAGINATION from LV... better to invest in that.
