I was looking for my first true niche summer fragrance. At that time, Perseus had just been released. I also heard a lot about Sedley. So I went to the perfume store, but no Perseus, and no Sedley either. Then I sought advice. When I first tested Greenly, it immediately reminded me of my hikes in mountains and forests. I had to get it right away. The packaging was initially a bit disappointing, just a simple cardboard box, nothing more. However, this changed with the bottle. Very beautiful and high-quality, it fits nicely in my collection. I must note here that I prefer the opaque bottles from Parfum de Marly. When you remove the cap, it has a good weight and is pleasantly easy to remove and put back on. The sprayer is great, but for my taste, it disperses too broadly.

The color of the bottle reflects the scent very well: green, green, green. The opening reveals a very fresh and citrusy bergamot and green apple. This is already supported by a slightly green undertone. Hidden in this are the oak moss and woods. The strong citrus notes pull back a bit, and the green notes become more pronounced. The apple and bergamot continue to blend with the green notes. As time goes on, the apple and bergamot recede further. This causes the citrus to almost completely disappear. In the end, a slight freshness can still be detected, and the green and woody notes stand out.

This perfume truly impressed me due to its balance and its clear connection to nature for me. I wear this on occasions like hiking, walks, by the lake... This perfume is easy to wear and not intrusive. This means you can wear it at work if you want. However, I see it more for leisure in the summer. The longevity/sillage is average for a summer fragrance, so you can comfortably apply 8-10 sprays. For all nature lovers, this is an absolute recommendation, but definitely not a blind buy.

I was looking for a new summer fragrance. So, I watched several videos on this topic. This scent appealed to me because of the mint and the cooling effect described in the video. I then looked into the brand and what it stands for. In short, affordable bottles with high-quality content. I ordered a tester and was immediately convinced and placed an order.
The packaging was surprisingly good. The fragrance was delivered in a foldable cardboard box. It now sits in my collection. The bottle is very unassuming but still does not feel cheap. When you take off the cap, it is very light and completely made of plastic. The sprayer is surprisingly good and disperses widely.

At first, the fragrance presents a strong, almost sharp blend of mint, grapefruit, and bergamot. The mint especially stands out. This combination is very fresh and citrusy and has a very cooling effect. The sharp character fades quickly, and the scent becomes lighter and greener. The grapefruit and bergamot move to the background. The mint remains in the foreground, and a green blend of oakmoss and cucumber joins in. In the end, the mint persists throughout the entire scent journey.

I really like this fragrance on truly hot summer days, 25 degrees and above, and sunny. Being outdoors a lot makes it perfect. Especially the cooling effect comes into its own then. If you like mint and are looking for this kind of scent, you are in the right place. The longevity/sillage is average but nothing special. It lasts on my skin for about 5-6 hours after the opening but relatively close to the skin. You can definitely apply it generously; I usually take about 7-8 sprays.

When unpacking it, the very high-quality packaging is noteworthy. The bottle comes in a really beautifully crafted leather box. Inside, the bottle is presented very nicely, giving an immediate impression of luxury. It also stands in my collection in this box. When you take the bottle in your hand, the quality is also palpable. The very nice print on the bottle as well as the typical Xerjoff golden metal plate with the X on it. This bottle also has a print on the back. This is relatively inconspicuous until you hold it up to the light, as it then casts a beautiful pattern on the inside. The cap fits very well in the hand and has a good weight. When putting it on and taking it off, you hear a click. For my taste, taking it off is a bit too heavy. The sprayer disperses widely and feels high-quality when used.

The scent progression initially focuses heavily on the bergamot and lemon notes with a slight warm background. However, this changes relatively quickly, and warm tobacco as well as sweet honey come into play, supported by a light spicy undertone from the cinnamon. The bergamot is still slightly perceptible in the background. After a while, it completely disappears. The scent then takes on a creaminess along with the warm tobacco and sweet honey, hinting at a slight vanilla. In the end, the warm tobacco and creaminess remain, while the sweetness and spiciness fade a bit.

The sillage and longevity of this fragrance are truly incredible. So be careful with the dosage. 4 sprays are more than enough. This scent practically fills the room, and you will definitely be noticed. However, it is not intrusive but very pleasant to the nose. On my skin, it lasts about 10-12 hours. I would wear this fragrance in my leisure time as it is a bit too strong for work. Due to its strength, warmth, and heaviness, I would wear it in autumn and winter. It’s great for cold days. On a cool summer day, maybe, but then use it sparingly.

I would recommend this perfume as a very good entry into the niche market. (it was also my first) It is very likable and doesn’t clash but is still special. The price-performance ratio is also top-notch as the bottle lasts forever and you will definitely be noticed.
