The unique piece.
I chose this fragrance for my first review with good reason. I have never been so irritated by other reviews/statements. When I went to my favorite perfumery to test this fragrance, my favorite saleswoman smiled at me and told me that this was her favorite of the NB line. When I sprayed it on for the first time, I understood why. I kept in mind the bad reviews I had seen before and the multiple "toothpaste" associations. These didn't matter to me at the time after experiencing the most beautiful and powerful mint ever. When I tested it on my skin, the mint was paired with light fruity notes and a super pleasant cucumber. In addition, this perfume refreshed me so much with its mint oil content that I almost froze;) So I have to say that this is my favorite summer fragrance and maybe even my favorite fragrance:)

Sour makes funny
It's summer, 27 degrees of sunshine.
I'm freshly showered from the gym.

On the walk home, I spray on the fragrance.
3x neck - *pschk, pschk, pschk*

There's a chance that I won't like the apple note, but before
i continue my inner thoughts, I start to grin.

Ha!
---
HEADNOTE:
Apple and mint? Green apple? Sour - you're sour and minty.
The brainstorming starts, so many associations pop into my head.

That smells like some kind of chewing gum, green Hubba Bubba?
Center Shock green, Tymbark apple mint, apple rings.

You got it, it's really all going in that direction.
And I am very pleased with the only sour green apple I have ever smelled in perfumes. A truly interesting discovery for me.

---
HEARTNOTE:
The mint is still present, but becomes quieter.
The apple holds its ground and now the freshly sliced cucumber joins in.
Aquatic, practical, good.

What a relief on a hot summer's day, and hey, do any of you know the cucumber lemonade?
Oh yes, it's not quite mine, but it fits well here.

I don't have the scent pyramid in my head, and now I see the melon note too.
Let's be honest, watermelon is normally combined with sweetness and usually smells extremely synthetic.
Here, the melon seems to operate in the background and is by no means intrusive.

The fragrance REMAINS linear and decreases in intensity over time.

A delightful experience.
The original Kobe Gardens sample was tested.

Mint escalation
I think Kobe Gardens is the strongest mint fragrance I know. Here you really get a huge load of mint.
The mint is cooling, almost menthol-like and ethereal.

The fragrance opens directly with this strong mint. It always gives me associations with a strong chewing gum that pops through your nose when you buy it. I can certainly understand some of the connections to toothpaste.
There are these slightly spicy toothpastes with a certain mint flavor and that's exactly what fits here quite well. Although I get the mint chewing gum associations more.

In my opinion, the fragrance works all year round, but it stands out even more in summer and that's where it fits best in my opinion.

It also has that certain maritime quality. However, I find the fragrance to be quite linear. The mint dominates this fragrance from start to finish. It only becomes a little tamer over time and doesn't quite blow everything away. Towards the end, it still dries down "greenish" and lands on oakmoss.

The Torino 21 is classified as similar here. But I can only understand this to a limited extent.
The fragrances are very different. Although Torino 21 also has mint, it is much milder and simply has a different effect due to the other notes.
The approach is similar, but the mint in Kobe Gardens is much sharper, stronger and cooler.

The performance is quite alright. It lasts quite well for a summer fragrance.
With this aggressive mint, however, you just have the feeling that it really lasts longer.

If you are looking for a strong mint fragrance per excellence, this is the one for you.

The perfect way to cool off in summer ?
If it's really hot outside and you want to cool down perfectly, then this fragrance is just right for you. If you put it in the fridge for about 20 minutes before spraying it on, you get the full load of this really unique mint. It has something sweet and goes more in the direction of Moroccan mint than the classically known to us but still a must buy for every fan of mint. The cooling aura that surrounds you almost freezes your skin, but it makes you feel great in high temperatures!

A fragrance to cool you down
I was looking for a new summer fragrance. So I watched several videos on the subject. This fragrance appealed to me because of the mint and the cooling effect described in the video. I then looked into the brand and what it stands for. Roughly summarized: inexpensive bottles with high-quality contents. I ordered a tester and was immediately convinced and ordered it.
The packaging was surprisingly good. The fragrance was delivered in a hinged cardboard box. It is also in this box in my collection. The bottle is therefore very inconspicuous but does not feel cheap. If you take off the cap, it is very light and completely made of plastic. The atomizer is surprisingly good and diffuses widely.

The fragrance starts with a strong, almost pungent blend of mint, grapefruit and bergamot. Especially the mint stands out. This combination is very fresh and citrusy and has a very cooling effect. The spicy character fades very quickly and the fragrance becomes lighter and greener. The grapefruit and bergamot fade into the background. The mint remains in the foreground and is joined by a green mixture of oakmoss and cucumber. Finally, the mint remains and runs through the entire fragrance.

I like the scent very much on really hot summer days 25 degrees upwards and sunny. Then being outside a lot and it's perfect. Especially the cooling effect comes into its own then. If you like mint and are looking for this kind of fragrance, you've come to the right place. The H/S is average but nothing special. It lasts on my skin for about 5-6 hours after opening but is relatively close to the skin. You can already dose properly always take about 7-8 puffs.
