Something about this is medicinal, but in the best way. I originally tried this as a replacement for a discontinued Bath and Body scent (Ginger and Cardamom body spray) and it doesn’t smell anything like it, but I still love it! Points taken off for being $245. I will not be purchasing a full bottle.

I love this!! Smelling straight from the bottle, it comes off as very milky and soft. On the skin it immediately has some kind of soapy smell to me, but it dries down again to milky and somewhat powdery. I unfortunately don’t get much by way of fruit, but I don’t mind. Definitely one of my top perfumes, just wish it lasted longer.

I was disappointed at first because I had high hopes for this perfume, but I ordered it along with A City On Fire (which I hated) and I could for some reason pick up a similar smokiness in this. After it dries down it’s a nice, warm, and gentle scent. No smokiness.

I don’t really pick up lavender in it, and I also don’t see it as a masculine scent. It’s just like warm laundry with a bit of musk.

I was pretty unimpressed with this at first. I still wouldn’t call myself impressed, but I’m not as disappointed as I was when I first tried it. On my skin, it’s practically nonexistent, but that’s more of a me problem than a problem with the perfume itself. When I sprayed it on my clothes though, it smells like how the girls in my high school gym class would smell after swimming. Kind of like shampoo?? Like not shampoo right out the bottle but shampoo directly after a shower. Maybe a little laundry soap too. I don’t know if it’s because of the combination of scents, but it smells like a sweet artificial rose. After a few hours it smells vaguely of those rose hard candies you can find at Asian markets.

It’s alright I guess. Smells a lot like a Bath and Body scent that you could get for... well, not $75.

It’s 2005. I’m 6 years old. I’m hanging out with my then-25-year-old aunt in her bedroom. Gwen Stefani ‘Hollaback Girl’ is playing. This perfume smells like that moment for me. I think this is what her laundry detergent smelled like at the time. Victoria’s Secret, maybe? I wish I could offer an unbiased opinion of this because I’m sure this perfume smells great to someone who isn’t instantly transported back to their aunt’s satin sheets from 2005.
