My entry into the niche
I would like to dedicate my first review to this beautiful fragrance by MFK.
I first tested it in a perfumery in Vienna when my points of contact with perfume were still limited to Jeremy Fragrance videos and classic small-town Douglas visits.

Unsuspecting, I entered the "Nägele & Strubell" store in Vienna's city center in the summer of 2018 and asked for advice. In the end, the last two candidates were "Gentle fluidity (Silver) | Maison Francis Kurkdjian" and "Amyris Homme (Eau de Toilette) | Maison Francis Kurkdjian".
After extensive testing on both wrists and a few hours later, I purchased my first niche fragrance, the "Amyris Homme (Eau de Toilette) | Maison Francis Kurkdjian".

What can I say, it has been a permanent fixture in my collection ever since.
The decisive factor for me was that it is very pleasant, but by no means ordinary. It is a fresh everyday fragrance that stands out but is not overpowering. The top note in particular is simply brilliant. In the drydown, it develops more into a sweet, woody fragrance. In general, the silage is rather skin-deep for me, but the longevity is quite respectable for a fragrance of this type.

Regarding the price:
I find it difficult to award points for price/performance, as niche perfumery is more of a luxury item for me and you should generally always ask yourself whether it is really worth the price. Nevertheless, I think the price of "Amyris Homme (Eau de Toilette) | Maison Francis Kurkdjian" is reasonable for the unique, yet pleasing DNA and quality that you get from MFK.

In conclusion, it is by no means my favorite fragrance, but I do enjoy wearing it from time to time. Especially in summer!
If you don't know it, here's the absolute test recommendation!
