Not my usual fragrance profile, but undeniably captivating. Spiced frangipane, caramelized fig, and golden amber blend into something that feels like a love potion. It reminds me so strongly of my last visit to my home country, but I can’t quite place why. The patchouli adds a refreshing lift. I need to show this to my best friend. I feel like it’s so her.

A light, airy rose water without a hint of powder (thank god). The candied violet adds a bright, sweet touch, showing me just how beautifully versatile violet can be. I don’t usually like rose, but this one is changing my mind. The honeywood in the drydown was such a smart choice—it carries the fragrance so elegantly. I wish I had a travel size to wear-test it more.

Orris butter lends a creamy texture, like the fragrance was mixed with a wooden spoon. Violet dusting powder and raspberry clafoutis create such a vivid scene—I feel like a ballerina at her vanity, powdering her face with a big white puff tied with a pastel pink bow. It’s delicate, like a porcelain doll sitting on a dusty shelf.

Whenever I smell cumin, it always leans intimate. Almost a little naughty. In this perfume, the cardamom isn’t super spicy; instead, it adds a soft creaminess. My boyfriend said it smells like a concentrated Spirit Halloween store. A little attic-like, lived-in, and filled with mysteries.
