Clean (and buttery?)
Actually, the name makes sense: I'm clean, so I'm ready to get 'dirty', ready to have sex. And it's kinda a fun name for a clean scent, honestly.

There's not much to say, it's a linear, clean, crisp, soapy, laundry kinda scent (flowery notes not perceived).
It doesn't have a specific evolution imo; It comes off really strong at first, and I prefer its drydown, it's more tamed, less 'in my face' and I kinda get that buttery note close to skin that probably my skin chemistry pulls off and I lowkey wanted it to feel it a bit more. I know it might sound weird, a laundry scent that smells of butter but hear me out... hear me out, it could be really comforting in a way. Or maybe my olfactory receptors are broken. Or maybe that's not even a real note that's listed and butter is not even present and my head just stuck to it and my nose imagined it. Totally plausible, knowing myself.
Still, enjoyable for soapy, laundry, clean scents lovers. Very good projection and longevity.
And let me know if you perceive the butter!!

Soft, meditative and melancholic.
I knew I was gonna like it... I mean, I didn't, because chrysanthemum scared the hell out of me (I spend a lot of time in the cemetery with mum changing flowers to our family tombstones so... I know the smell of 'cemetery flowers' too well to say 'wow chrysanthemum!'), but well, my ignorance paid: this is lovely and, just like user Dellamorte said, 'ghostly-pretty' and plays so well with my skin chemistry.
I perceive it as warm, meditative and melancholic, with that mix of chamomile and chrysanthemum (rose not perceived and, for my taste, is great), which is more herbal than floral, just like a warm cup of tea (but without the bitterness), later incense makes its appearance, it works as a solo artist for a while and then herbs come back and everything harmonizes perfectly.
Drydown is divine on my skin: it leans sweet creamy imo (but not gourmand) with a smoky quality given by incense and everything is so harmonious, it's very soft, calming and enveloping. It's like a chamomile incense magic.
I just love it. Full bottle worthy for me.
Brava Matilda!

Edit: bought a full bottle and it's so calming, can't wait to see if it works in warmer weather because I'm seriously addicted and this is now one of the three signatures I rotate when I become anosmic.

Note for Matilda Morri: non so se leggerai mai queste righe, ma ti prego, continua a produrre questo profumo forever perché non credo di poterne fare a meno! Grazie

First love in niche.
This was the second fragrance that ever made me shed a tear (the other is Feminité du bois by Shiseido - the og one).
The opening is pure art for me: green, dark, crisp, wet, dusky leaves of a shady undergrowth, very atmospheric, refreshing in a way a much-needed summer storm is.
Then a very juicy and dark rose comes in - I'm not a rosy gal, but lord, I like the take on this one.
The rose stays and, sadly for me, it loses that darkness, that moodiness, and turns into a kinda soapy 'mature lady' rose (hey, it's linear for 1983 tho), and yeah, the initial masterpiece kinda fades...
If the opening had never evolved... that would've been my perfect green fragrance.

This remains, to me, nevertheless a work of art, a very well-executed concept, a subtle piece of artistry, very light and elegant, a fragrance that doesn't need to shout to make its presence known.

What does your crush smells like?
Ok, so I found out that this is the fragrance my current crush wears... later the same day, I bought it. I'm such a clown.
When I smell it on her, she is probably wearing it for at least 4 hours, and I detect violets, those powdery florals, really enveloping and soft. Funny thing is that I was pretty close to her while talking and the fragrance stuck to me like glue: later I felt it in my hair when I moved my head, I felt it in my nostrils... It was driving me mad, so I asked her.

But... on my skin? A completely different story. Not a fan of the top notes, just right after sprayed, a bit too strong, but then the middle notes come in, it reads really green on me, really crisp, clean white florals: I smell the lily of the valley, the hyacinth, and jasmine. It sets later into an aquatic linear skin scent. I don't feel any projection, or, at least, not the projection I feel on her, not the powdery notes, not the violet, not the softness.

I'm a bit sad that I cannot find her in the fragrance... I really wanted to have a memory, since I'll never 'have' her. So, I suppose the only option here is to rub myself on her just like a cat and then run away (I SO WON'T DO THAT).
But overall, being a 1996 fragrance, I think that despite a not-so-current opening, it sets as a clean, crisp floral scent that can blend with our current fragrance trends just wonderfully.

Ripe melon and celery with salt? What.
I'm weirdly attracted to this fragrance... Probably the Bisch magic - he did his homework for Gaultier pretty well imo.
This is one of my mum's perfumes, and I love its trail scent, this sweet salty aquatic florals... but on my skin... I smell something very green, that resembles ripe melon - too ripe, almost medicinal (is it calypsone?) - and celery, some sort of sweet ripe fruit, with a salty note that resembles algae... It's freaking weird, but it comes out sparkly and effervescent.
Something I feel is kinda gross, like fruits and vegetables rotting under the sun, but at the same time, I can't stop smelling this, because the salt balances everything out, making this different and kinda addicting.
I hate this sensation. I like that it's not like any other generic designer vanilla forward, compliment getter fragrances, it's bold and different in its own way, gotta admit that. Still an easy wear, still a compliment getter, but - to me - it doesn't smell like something I've smelled a hundred times (even though white florals have this characteristic)...
I appreciate its drydown, very fresh, not stinky and cheapish. It leaves a fresh and sweet, not cloying trace on clothes even days later.
So, I like it? Can't decide.
