Don't listen to others..

I've noticed that this fragrance gets a lot of bad press on social media. But to be honest, I don't care.

I smelled this perfume for the first time in a perfumery and was immediately impressed. I really like the combination of sweet, salty and also fresh. H&S are also very good. Lasts for 7 - 8 hours on me and even longer on my clothes. I have already received compliments :). I would buy this fragrance again at any time.

Complicated with potential

A difficult fragrance...
Very sweet at first, then very floral and very salty at the end.
Something bothers me and the fragrance is not rounded for me.
Maybe it has to get cold first for Gaultier Divine to work.

I have now tested it for a few days in hot, warm and moderate temperatures.
1 spritz is enough the perfume is very strong! Was too much for my fellow men.

I can't say that I don't like it.
The fragrance is extremely special and stands out! I think you have to fall in love with the perfume straight away.
It could be that we will be smelling the fragrance a lot in the future, like with Alien, Angel or LVEB etc.

The scent is definitely very different and stands out.
I often smell perfume and I must confess that I am not surprised. Many smell similar and then the 10th version of a fragrance.

Boring...

But with Gaultier Divine, JPG could shake up the market.

It remains exciting!
Let's see if I smell the fragrance everywhere soon.

Not mainstream...

What I haven't smelled, used and left behind in my life. It's also my age that I never want to smell like the average person. For me, the fragrance has everything. Sweet, bitter, floral, a slight hint of salt, synthetic, everything that I like and everything that didn't exist in the past. It's not the average fragrance that everyone carries around with them. I love it, I wear it and the rest can be satisfied with the average.

Surprising designer

To be honest, I don't find Gaultier fragrances that appealing so far. The flacons are not my cup of tea and I find them rather boring. So I tested this fragrance with low expectations. And was pleasantly surprised. The white flowers are very strong at the beginning but still pleasant in my opinion. The meringue makes the whole thing more rounded and the sea breeze lets me breathe in the fragrance freely.
I couldn't stop sniffing it. And two days later, my T-shirt still smells of it. Wow. I think that's amazing for such a fresh/floral fragrance.
For me, it's more for everyday wear. As I can see from the other reviews, it divides opinion. And I understand why. However, it has won me over. But I would rather wear it in spring/summer.

Sensual in the sea

Once again, I have bought a fragrance without testing it first. I am right 99.9% of the time. This was also the case here, which of course makes me happy. Otherwise I would have had to give the perfume to my daughter... although no, she always helps herself now... maybe I need a safe.

I already have several Jean Paul Gaultier fragrances and have never been disappointed. When I read the fragrance description, I was a little worried because I don't like aquatic fragrances that much. But here it fits perfectly, as the aquatic scent is only very brief and very subtle. The fragrance itself is sweet and floral. At the beginning, I notice a slight salty sea breeze. However, this blends very quickly with the floral part. The lily scent is really very dominant, you have to like that. I love it, but the floral really masks this slightly aquatic scent. Perfect for me. In my eyes, it is a really successful fragrance, all the components harmonize extremely well with each other in my nose. The sillage is enormous and the fragrance lasts an incredibly long time on the skin, hair and clothes. I have been approached very often. Some find the fragrance fresh, some find it very sweet and floral. One of my friends clearly perceives the salty note. She smells salty caramel in the fragrance... so far my nose hasn't noticed anything. But fortunately, our noses are very different when it comes to olfaction.
Ultimately, I love heavy, sweet and floral fragrances very much, so this one fits super well into my collection.
I will be buying this fragrance again and again, that's for sure.
