I hate that I like this fragrance.
Yes, I do, because it goes against everything I feel I'm not: that girly, rosy, sweet, and a bit fruity kinda fragrance girl that I thought I left in the past: I detest almost all of these characteristics in a fragrance (at least the girly, sweet... I can take the bit fruity) but here, oh well, on Delina everything works.
When I first smelled it, I thought, 'Ugh, a petulant young girl fragrance'.
But I had to give up: Delina is Deli-cious.
It's such a lovely composition; everything works. It's a bright, juicy, gentle, crisp rose. Not a pout-pourri rose, not a too powdery 'old lady' rose, this rose is...well, girlish, vivacious, and somewhat innocent.
It's never boring in its evolution; a compliment getter, for sure.

Nice, cute, friendly compliment getter.
See, I get why this gets so much compliments, it's clean, it's friendly, it has that lovely pink pepper right after sprayed that doesn't last too long (I wish it lasted a bit more, though), and then it settles - on my skin - as a soft, sweet, polite, almost fruity scent. I get it, I get where the compliments come from.
But I find it's a boring fragrance for me, a bit too girly (even if I like other girly fragrances) I don't see myself wearing it every day, it lacks complexity, it was a bit underwhelming, but it layers very well with Fleur de Peau (a different kind of clean skin scent).
It's overall a beautiful fragrance, really.

Spicy, cozy second skin scent.
It's hard for me to talk about this fragrance. At first I was like, meh, not my cup of tea, but then it grew on me and I couldn't stop smelling my wrist, I loved that pink pepper explosion in the top notes, I was addicted to it, I loved it, it was so pure, so crisp, so clean.

So, I bought the full bottle.

But then, something weird happened: I couldn't detect that beautiful pink pepper alone, instead, the first thing I smelled alongside the spicy notes was some rotten carrot smell and that drove me crazy.
I was like 'I loved this scent and now I'm confused, why is it doing this'.

Now, time has passed and it has become one of my go to scents; yes, I still detect that carrot a bit too strongly with an incensy smell (kind of smoky) that at times bothers me, but the drydown on clothes is my favourite thing: it's the smell I want my clothes to have when they're clean. Not that soapy clean but this kind of gentle, spicy, comfy clean. Idk if someone gets me.

And I'm really fond of this fragrance, it's very elegant and complex, I think it's a very simple but refined creation where I mainly detect an elegant mix of aldehydes, pepper, carrot, something that gives that incense vibe; I like that it's a skin scent but a bit more complex in its structure than others I tried. It mixes well with other musky skin scents too.
It doesn't project but I found out that on clothes it has a decent, quiet longevity. Smelling it on my clothes after a few hours or days it's such a joy!

My summer scent.
This is a drug for me. When I first tested it, I couldn't stop reaching for my arm to smell it, so I bought it.
Creamy flowers that transport you to a white sand beach with palms and crystal waters.
It falls in the 'summer beach lotion fragrances' category, imo, with the notes displayed - the joyful game between coconut, ylang ylang, tiarè, and ta-dah, you have your summer beach scent.
It's a powerhouse for longevity, so I don't tend to overspray it.
It's, for sure, a compliment getter (even at the gym, I swear).
Marketed as a summer fragrance, I still use it all year round, with no remorse. It's like to be brought back to summer in a whiff.

Weird experience
Tested yesterday, and I want to test it more, maybe in the winter, colder weather.
Because on my skin, it smelled instantly a bit spicy, peppery, and it's okay, I like that but then it developed -both on skin and on paper- to be strangely similar to This is Her by Zadig and Voltaire, which I find too strong and too sweet for my taste. I was weirded out since this fragrance is supposed to change according to everyone's pH... so idk what to think about.
I tried it in very warm and humid weather, my skin was hot and sweaty. It also lasted a lot; I could smell it even after I showered.
I'll try it again this winter to see if it speaks to me differently.
As for now, it's a no for me, but I'm still interested in discovering how it'll behave in a few months.
